OMG. Thank You so much for posting this!! I am 53 years old I remember in the 70s going to the Warner theater!! For cartoons and Disney movies! and I saw Star wars there probably at least 30 times lol! It was a beautiful place and I appreciated it even when I was young. I remember the yellow and red light bulbs that screwed directly into the wall around the posters. And one time the balcony was actually open and I got to sit up there that was a huge thrill. I pass the hotel every day now for work that used to be the theater and the memories come flooding back.
I see that this is the last webisode posted for your road trip adventure. What happened to the Bus? Is it dead and your adventure is over? Really enjoyed watching all the webisodes of your road trip!

LordStarscream100 all I have is 4 miniDV tapes that I shot that on. They are SD 4:3, as you can see in the video. The most important stuff on those tapes is the footage I got from someone named Chris Trojak of the old house that was at the end of the driveway. When I shot up there the house was gone and it was just rubble. Let me know if you want to use these miniDV tapes for your doc. The drive that I originally digitized the footage to died long ago.

LordStarscream100 the drive that I digitized the tapes to died. All I have are the original tapes I shot them on. It was over 10 years ago before you could shoot directly to a digital file format. You can borrow the tapes if you have access to a miniDV deck or camcorder.

Well, I guess I'm going to break the silence of this now decade old video. No one ever talks about sawmill road in general. Whenever it is mentioned, the gates are the first thing to come to mind. I was just up at the driveway two weeks ago with friends, and like everyone has been saying recently, that the property has been destroyed by the neighborhood that was built right through it. Strange things have happened on Sawmill road at night while we've been down there. Around Mid May, and Halloween every year, random things are dumped along the side of the road. This most recent Halloween, we found bills, and credit cards of some random person who lives Arkansas. We have also found old children's cloths, and toys floating in the steam that runs along the road. We have walked the road quite a few times at night, and once came across, someone is sitting on the side of the road, just staring into the woods. When this person saw us, he started crying, got up, and stumbled towards us. He wouldn't have hurt us, but it was just so creepy, that we just ran for the highway. Keep in mind that this is no where near the old driveway. There is a 1 and a half mile stretch closest to 322 of the road with no houses, lights, or people. This is where most of the weird shit happens. I think the supernatural nature of the road is overlooked by the no longer existent gates of hell. I've never had a good experience with that road, and I once again, plan to go down with friends to see what may be littered there in May.
Hey, good to see someone else talking about the area. I filmed a full-length movie there last summer - it's a great place but it also feels really eerie. I took a hike to the road last week during the daytime. I wouldn't dare go there at night. Honestly, it's freaky to even see a car driving down that road, you never know what to expect. The place where the gates used to be is marked by some giant rocks now ... nothing special really. The road itself, though, is definitely uncanny. Your experience with the person sounds really interesting ... last September, I was taking a walk down the road while doing a location scout for my film. While heading along, I looked to my left - about a hundred feet into the woods was a teenage girl sitting on a fallen tree, barefoot. It startled me; she was hunched over and seemed to be crying. I opted not to approach her as I didn't know what could happen - all in all I felt very uncertain. While passing by I waved at her, and she waved back, which was of some assurance. I kept on walking and a few minutes later I went back ... she'd gotten up and was walking up a hill, supposedly heading for the new development by Sawmill Road. Not a freaky experience, definitely weird though - but nowhere near as weird as what you saw. And what you found alongside the road is freaky too. I can hardly imagine the things that have happened around there. Definitely post a comment if anything happens in May. Stay safe dude.
I have been here all last night, there are multiple trails, left and right, I would like to say our alarm for the minivan went off from at least a mile or so away the key fab was not shutting the van up we walk down and it wouldn't turn of . until we were in it. last night 12/30/2016 at 330 am. heard some noises, not explainable. and I know the original guy steve in the origional interview video. hes my friends step dad and other buddys dad. we want to find it, no matter what It takes at 3 am we will be there, can someone tell us where we should go.
Hey Justin, I live in the area and in the last year I've found out a lot about it. Unfortunately the house and the surrounding property, including the long driveway, were all taken down in the last fifteen years so that a new development could be built. All that remains of the property is the dark lake shown at 1:03. You said your van wouldn't start? Were you guys parked near a bunch of big rocks? They mark where the driveway used to be.
So Sorry you guys got soaked up in the Oakie Fanoakie. I thought I might talk the wife into following you two, but it is too dangerous. You are gone forever. Too bad, that was a nice camper. Why didn't you stay in it more?
The house is gone, very little of the original property remains. There are giant rocks blocking the driveway, which is either covered in dirt or was torn up at some point. There is a creepy still lake near the driveway, as described in the video, with a large rusty fence surrounding it. Like I said, nto much of the property remains - but it's still an awesome place, I've shot some movies down there and it's fantastic.
