I love all kinds of handbags- designer, luxury, vintage you name it. I’m obsessed with preparedness and have all kinds of EDC kits. I love to travel so you’ll see pack with me videos as well.
Agreed. I just sold my Speedy 35 luxrul (I did keep the brown one), my Sofia Coppola perforated LV clutch, my blue Damier clutch I bought in Japan, and the By the Pool vanilla clutch. Kept an orange epi Alma. It feels great!!!
Well done! You seem to have your needs squared away in the event that you would need to leave in an emergency. I was not directly affected by Hurricane Helene, but live about 20 miles from areas that were impacted. Many of the people that were displaced only had minutes to leave their homes and businesses before massive flooding hit. Sadly, I doubt many of them were able to evacuate with more than the clothes on their backs. While it’s a devastating situation, a go bag like yours could make things a little better until help arrives. One specific note about your bag: you were very thoughtful to include copies of important documents in your kit. In the unfortunate event that you’ve lost your home or other property, copies of legal documents would be helpful in applying for aid. Sorry for the long comment, but your video is a timely reminder of the importance of being prepared for the unexpected.
I have a bug out kit in my car with lots of the same things you have in here. I’m working on a regular bag like yours. Let me suggest a great item to have in your car, a battery jumper. It’s a battery pack that has the jumper cables hooked to it. It holds 3 charges, but it also has a USB port so you can charge electronics for a while with it.
@@jeannebrinkman8889 of course! I have a tutorial on this video. Let me know if you have any questions 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oZruNmqMcSg.htmlsi=_mp7j-wEfIxZCBc_
This was so good. I have been working to put a go bag together, and I have two cats so I'm always thinking of them in terms of an emergency. How would you transport your cats? Do you have cat carriers, backpacks, a cat stroller? I'm just so indecisive on this part because I don't know what is the most efficient or easy to use in an emergency. Just wondering what your thoughts were. Thanks for posting.
I got a Gerber bc of you…. And slowly adding to my bag…. My husband and parents think I’m prepping for war or something 😅but I have a little girls to take care of…better over than underprepared
Great vid! Thanks for sharing. It's always great to be prepared. In my emergency bag i made sure to focus on food, water and shelter. Got everything from amazon. One of the best purchases i made was buying freezedried food that lasts 15yrs and only needs water.
I have two bags. One in the car and one in the house. Plus, the mom in case bag. I do need to update the meds in them. And I saw a few things I would like to add to mine. ❤
Same here…because if they say you have 10-15 minutes to evacuate your home, then you have your bag ready and still time to grab another bag with additional items.
Great video! You probably know this, but a pencil or an all-weather pen is needed for your Rite in the Rain notebook. The pages are coated to make them waterproof, so regular pens don’t work well (and are even less effective when the paper is wet).
Hi, I love watching purse organizations, but I do have a couple of questions: 1. Shouldn't you keep your hand sanitizer in the outer pocket for easier access? So that you don't contaminate all your purse. 2. Same idea for the pepper spray, isn't it more convenient to have it ready to use in the outer pocket? 3. How come you carry other stuff if you already have the Victorinox card? Personally I bought it for the convenience of having everything in a small place and without the need to carry separated scissors or many pens, etc. I hope I didn't came too judgemental, I am genuinely curios since I love purse organizations and fema EDCs!
Hi! I’m fine with getting my hand sani from where it is no biggie for me, same with the pepper spray (esp since I have other means of protection always on my person). I carry the other items even though I have the Victorinox because I have the mentality 2 is 1 and 1 is none when it comes to those items lol. It gives me peace of mind I guess. You didn’t come off too judgmental no worries :) I appreciate you for watching! 💕
The *yutulu* canvas tote bag actually reminds me of Hermes Garden Party, too. Thanks for making this video on suggesting more budget friendly alternatives. Love it!
The small is great size for me . I got my pre order for the lavender and burgundy thinking add a black color too . I’m debating because I have so many black bags.❤❤❤
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I really like the bag. Both colors are good. I would get the black. It does hold a lot more than it looks like it would. I was mot familiar with it. I'm debating on which bag to buy when my husband gets his bonus. We split itcand each get something we want. This is now a contender. ❤
Loved this video. I have been carrying a kit like this around for quite some time and it has come in handy so many times!! Would love to see a car edc video!
Never apologize for being "that person". As a nurse, I have been wiping down airplane, bus, and train seats/trays as well as hotels rooms and cruise cabins for over 30 years. For a 3-day weekend, I take a Lovevook 17 inch backpack, for a week, I have a rolling under seat bag. I use the long tube shaped compression bags - they fit well laying in the bottom of my backpack or on end in my under seat bag.
Us Nurses know about sanitizing a thing or two right lol You’re right I shouldn’t apologize for being that person (I need to work on that). I need to look into the Lovevook backpack a few people have mentioned it. Thanks so much for watching and thanks for your service as a nurse 😊💕
But the question is, is the real thing worth a few thousand dollars more than a luxrul fake? To me, given the lack of lustre quality of modern luxury goods, it really isn't.
At a gathering of close friends, I found that more and more friends began to pay more attention to personality and stories rather than simple brand labels. Inspired by this, I began to explore bags that can reflect personal style without being too expensive, and luxrul helped me find a bag that suits my taste. This bag is both low-key and cheap, and there is really nothing wrong with it.
