I wrote down everything step by step and the first log that you remove, it doesn't let me remote, I get the X on my screen. Did the game patch it out or did you do something hidden? It's very hard to follow your steps you cut the video at points and look around a lot
It’s too bad you can’t build curved arches. The devs need to open up the build mechanic to curves. They keep patching all the tricks to make them which makes 0 sense to me.
@realrabidraccoon I built a levitating church with glitch using that cost me a lot of nerves, my first big build.. but it all got deleted with the last updates😭😂
Tried several times to build this but I don't succeed to do so....I give up! Every time I want to place a log diagonally to the centre the game shows a red arrow.....😕😕
Hi buddy, I just subbed up, you can do so much in the sons of the forest. I love the lamp posts. I like playing in peaceful "custom", I like realistic days and realistic seasons. Right in the same area where you're main base cabin is. It's awesome place to build an ultimate fishing dock n' cabin.

I’ve managed to finally get the octagonal part done; thank you for the tutorial! But I’m trying to make the roof part of the enclosure aswell, but I can seem to figure out how you made the corner-column pieces?
Happy you got it done! For the roof, search on youtube : Sons of the Forest: A roof for "The Octagon" by Knight Before Dawn. I think it should help you with what you're trying to do! ;)

Knight Before Dawn did a tutorial on how to make a octagonal foundation and another one where he does the roofing. I would recommend checking these videos out if you're interested in making a gazebo like mine. I might make a more in-depth tutorial in the future, we'll see!
