I had the wonderful experience of snow shoeing and x-country skiing in the Sierra Nevada while I attended the Cold Weather Training at Bridgeport, Ca in 1992. It sure wasn't easy, but it was interesting, challenging, and more fun than not.
I remember being asked "Hey Mike wanna help me paint a sign ? It's easy money! Thing is someone didn't tell me I would be hanging by my nails almost 3 stories up which was great for someone that hates heights for 8 plus hours! But then again I guess that why you asked for help! I didn't know we played to get money,I got "paid a lot " when we were playing. Anyway, you have always been talented ,so this has always been a good job for you! Good seeing you.
Awesome 👍😎. I just found a new way to work my designs into old windows laying around without investing in stained glass supplies cause I have a lot of beads and the windows already. Thanks for your inspiration 🤠🤠
While this type of show may seem dated today when compared to the other types of shows in Vegas; it seems like it was just yesterday. I am grateful to have seen Vegas at its best!
Clever clogs! I love that you found a very practical and satisfying solution to your creative need to work with glass. And importantly, have made it your own. ❤
I met Frank once, and immediately recognized who he was. When I told him that I watch every Saturday night, he replied "Oh, so YOU'RE the one who's been watching!" Great guy!
