So interesting. Many years ago I lived in a shared house and became friendly with a good-looking straight guy who also lived there. He would come to my room most evenings and stay for hours, gradually opening up about himself, telling me that he enjoyed wearing ladies' panties. He knew I was gay and it didn't seem to bother him at all spending time alone with me in my room. I never flirted with him and it never occurred to me that anything sexual would happen between us, although I secretly hoped it would because I found him attractive. Well folks, nothing happened! He met a woman...a friend of mine, as it happens...and he stopped visiting me. I found out that they had been seeing each other for a few weeks but neither of them had bothered to tell me. I was very hurt at the time, although I had no right to be, and never spoke to him again, although I did keep in touch with the girl for many years. He turned out to be a very controlling, abusive person and they eventually split up after living together for a few years. He and I had intimacy without sex, but I think we might have crossed that boundary if he hadn't met my friend.....or am i just fooling myself? Maybe he was just using me to fill in some lonely evenings until he met a woman. It happens.

This is why I don't worry about labels. I've been with several guys who identify as straight. They have always been the one who has pursued it. The one thing that is consistent is that I never tried to put them in a box, they identified as straight and I supported that, not trying to bag the straight guy.After many questions, them finding out I had been married before but definitely knowing I was gay, the felt comfortable approaching experimenting. We discussed it as I didnt want it to negatively impact our friendship. I let them set the pace. Each of them continued to date women, yet we developed relationships to various degrees. The one thing that I found interesting is that they all started with a list of things they wouldn't be comfortable with, such as kissing, yet they all ended up doing those things and it was the I'm not ready for that that each of them eventually wanted to do the most

I knew a guy, married to a woman for many years, a father and a grandfather, held a very senior position in a Baptist Church for many years, but never a very happy man. Then I discovered he is gay. After I found that out, he never spoke to me again before he died. So sad. He acted straight for a very long time.
