I wish to pay to see the reactions of all the salty guys here in the comments whenever they see his full ROM military press at 150 kg :) This video is good on its own, gives you idea how to start lifting a bit if you dont have press bench etc.
For everyone who doubt my rom. 😂 That floor press on the yard was just a little test. Usually I use long rom with pauses. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9U-KSvmLI2Q.htmlsi=1Pbmc7E8o_akS2KC and you guys should visit on my channel to see more lifting vids. 👍🏻💪🏻✨ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G2OTTZ8eEqk.htmlsi=JWbEjQG2GWXRqWhz

i mean your lifting heavy, but with a low range of motion and no stretch on the pecs or triceps. doing the best with what you have but i think getting a bench and rack would be good for gains bro
I do have normal bench also. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LrfPpvPVrDM.htmlsi=uLKE-lW0Za2VlL2y This was first time I did this variation at home. Usually I do floorpress at gym. @@Kivari811 this is basically pin press which is crazy good for triceps and the locking out part of the press, great movement imo, especially if that's the part that you fail a lift on (which it is for me personally)
@@MTKashSmash Yeah it is. That was too high for me but it was the first time with this set up at home. Pin press is very good for tris. 💪🏻✨ I need to hit my triceps more than chest. Tris are my weakpoint. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q0Tw-kvT4Q0.htmlsi=KyMdqMca8dS5Z53h here is my real pin press 5cm from chest with pauses.

For anyone wondering about the lack of range of motion and floor vs normal bench press. The half reps contain the pump to the muscles used (in this case mostly chest and tris) rather than spread the pump across all the muscles required for a normal bench press (chest, tris, and shoulders). Half reps when done with the correct knowledge can be just as or even more effective than normal reps. Regarding floor bench vs normal bench, floor bench removes all leg drive and transfers that stabilizing effort to the core making it slightly more difficult than normal bench press.

@@rasmus6822No clue. It sure seems easier that way. If i was forced to workout at home without a bench i'd certainly try to maximize the range of motion with my floor presses.

I can get out under those safety bars. Normally I put those one hole upper but now I did a mistake and put those bit lower than usually. From that position I put barbell a bit closer my head and then barbell stays on safety bars only. But hole four is better for me nowadays. On vid I used hole three. And I don’t use locks while benching so I can chip these plates on the floor if I fail.
lol I don't think it's 5%. Maybe that's true for the untrained people but the most of the guys started to train with me could bench their own bw at least once. At 15 y.o. i was 50kg and was benching 50x8 with my friends. But if we are talking about female standards, then it may be true
@@notabenchpresser When I started to lift weights my BW was 55kg and max bench was 55 also. So most of slim guys can lift their own BW at their teenage years. But when you getting older and naturally gaining weight benching own BW isn’t that easy. Regular grown up man weight is around 75-85kg. So benching that load isn’t sure without training.
Look at my other vids and you’ll see. I do long sets about once per week or two. I’ve done regular bench press few years ago 9x10 110kg and 2x9 110kg. With 100kg I’ve done 25 reps. Three weeks ago I hit 2x15 110kg. I’ve started to do longer sets nowadays. I kept little pause from those longer sets and focus mainly to shorter ones for a while.

Need a better diet and I wouldn't recommend those bands. An accident waiting to happen given enough time. If you lose 10 kg of fat and gain 10 kg of muscles, you'd be an absolute beast. Cut the carbs, more greens and meat.
I eat meat and greens. But I eat a lot! Plus I use a lot of milk products. Cheese etc. When I was younger it was very hard to gain weight. For years my BW was around 67-75kg. And inner fat was around 7%. So I almost doubled my meals because my results in the gym has stopped. I gained about 20kg in one year. Just with food. I’ve been lifetime natty and lifting weights 27 years now. And all my results blown up after gaining weight. So I’ve build that power and belly with love for years. 🤣 And I don’t want to cut weight. 108-112kg seems to be quite good BW for me because my basic condition is still at quite good level. I ride with bike 10-20km and do 3-7km walkings. Not constantly but sometimes. And my opinion with bands is that there’s no risk with using those. Especially with that light weights. Normally I use them in the gym. There are safetybars on bench. So zero risk there. I have left ones under the bar at home while have bigger load on the bar but I managed to get up on sitting position all by myself quite easily. But I still know what you mean. 👍🏻 and if you put bands first and after that plates you can drop weights from bar if you fail and you don’t use locks on the bar.
Bit over week ago was my birthday. 43 years now and still hit PR’s. With all time natty I gotta B happy. 🙂 Just now I just push but for long time dream is that 170kg raw and paused bench press.
