I remember I got the Hotwired album back in 2001 for the song Divine Thing, which featured VERY briefly on Hellraiser III. Never knew I would fall in love with the entire album, especially Forever Yesterday.
Love the vibe and lyrics...but the music instinctively feels like there's a slight timing issue, maybe in the one of the sequencer tracks, its feels a fraction ahead of the beat? Sean you've been making great music for the best part of 40 years and I dont mean to be rude or even criticize, but as a musician thats my take on it :(
@@hifisean hey there HifiSean... I appreciate your response... I had no clue the Soup Dragons were playing music together again !! I bought Lovegod in 1990 and still listen to it a lot ! Oh yeah, the new tunes are banging too ! Good to see the band chemistry is still there
I always wonder why this song isn't more remembered, was an absolute anthem of the time for me and hasn't dated like some stuff from back then. Going to have to dig through my old CDs as the album doesn't even seem to be available on streaming

Only just discovered the newer album and found tracks on here! David McAlmont still has stunning vocals, and what a range he can go to! He is my No 1 fav singer artiste’. Beautiful song, stunning David vocalisation. Hifi Sean is interesting me also.
