Welcome, Rob from RJL Gardens, a professional Lawn care and Landscaping / gardening business. Sharing my passion for gardening and love of machinery. Bringing you a variety of different videos including equipment vids and reviews, tips tricks and fixes, and general work videos.
Thanks for watching, and any support is much appreciated.
Adjusted mine today as I was having some running problems. This was one of two issues, the second being carb related. Damn E10 fuel :-(. Thanks for the help
@@RJLgardens Something has gone wrong when your garden tools run on a better quality fuel than your car. They generally get E5, the car gets E10. I tend to use E5 with a fuel preserver from Mountfield, but there's always the time when you run out and have to use what you've got on hand.
@@RJLgardenscheers mate, really enjoy your videos. I’m looking at planting a row in my garden but at 1.5m apart and then follow your advice in the video to hopefully still thicken them up
super satisfying to watch on video but sucks to do in person, every time I watch these videos I want to do the same and then realize that it sucks to do it in real life
I’m curious why cut between the plants. I have a similar hedge establishing, but was planning on leaving the inside branches to overlap. Is it a health risk otherwise? Or just about thickness?
When you let them grow into each other the long branches will rob energy from other smaller bits of growth, also less light for them. A bit of overlap is fine though, the aim when they are young is to prune any dominant branches to allow the rest to grow and thicken up. You will have a healthier fuller hedge in the long run.
The single sided one only cuts one way, the hedge gets combed the same way, so sometimes you need to cut against it to stand it back up. so used a double sided. 👍
