Hi I have purchased this pattern and I'm having trouble printing the pattern. You mention that I set the printer to no scaling... so the the scale square measures exactly 1". I cannot find a way to do this so please can you talk me through how I do this ? many thanks Jill.
I was very fortunate. My husband bought me a 1630 28 years ago. I had a couple weeks of intense classes from the dealership. They taught me how to use all the feet that came with it. I bought a 530 (now the 535) a few years ago for the BSR. Love my buttonholes and that it will happily keep making however many you need the exact same size!
I started this project a few days ago, finishing up now. I made it for my featherweight. It's just what I was wanting because I don't like anything hanging down on my lap and the pocket storage is awesome. Thank you for a great pattern!...
Thank you for the free add-on pattern. I cannot wait to make my sofa station and thread catcher. I deeply appreciate your meticulous instructions and videos. So nice to have every single step fully shown and carefully explained. Your patterns are a great value!
I cut out a couple of the pieces before I remembered I was suppose to quilt them first. I don’t have enough of that fabric to start over. What should I do?
I am at this point of the process and I’m so very thankful for the amount of detail on how you do things. You catch every question I have before I have it and I think that’s THE BEST because I don’t have to go and look it up. My grand niece started making masks with my sister ( her grandma) and I sent her a sewing machine at that time. She’s taking lessons and has made slippers, a scarf, a hat and I’m not sure what else, but LOVES it! I sent her sewing notions too with ALL THINGS PURPLE and this sewing stating will be the perfect thing for her. Kudos to a great series!
I’m a little confused about the measurements. I cut the material according the pattern provided, but it seems in the video yours is cut much bigger than what it said. My question is, what size are the finished panels suppose to be when all quilting and trimming is done?
😝 Aussie here… at 1:10 I had to laugh because I was wondering why as an Aussie you were referring to this as a Macaroon instead Macaron 😂 and was just about to ask when you explained the difference to your viewers. 🇦🇺🦘🐨❤
Just saw this on Facebook and rushed over here at once. This is great! And my sewing room looks just like yours with those Billy bookcases! Brilliant, aren’t they?
Very nice bag!! I have some bags like this that I bought years ago in a container store (only the handle section is double layered, and it’s made out of very thin windbreaker-like fabric). I use them practically every day for groceries, they’re very strong and much bigger interior than they appear. This bag will be thicker- but prettier! - so I may save it for more dry goods type shopping. Or perhaps when I go fabric shopping!😉😊. Thanks for the excellent tutorial video. New subscriber.❤
I have only recently purchased the pattern which is very well written and comprehensive, I have the base cut out and quilted and I am working my way through these videos before I begin adding the pockets. I really appreciate the magnet information Ali. x
You have such a nice voice. The music is so distracting. Playing the same segment over and over and over again is very irritating. If a variety of music was played it would be more tolerable. Love your videos, !
Oh thank you thank you for saying that talk about irritating distracting repetitive music these beginner RU-vid creators always seem to think they have to put music in the background
Ali, I indeed love your cathedral window fussy cut Tilda Hibernation bag. I will visit your store to get the kit except fabric as mine is on its way. ❤😊 J
Not the best review all you talked about was features you never plugged it in and demonstrated how it works I have the M2 and to me it’s a piece of junk I’ve been back-and-forth with a Oliso customer service. They’re absolutely clueless. They sent me replacement iron does the exact same thing that I was complaining about Also, I specifically told them that I did not want the M3 because I am left-handed and this rep wasn’t even aware that you can switch the cord to the left hand side Not impressed with this company at all There’s another lady on another channel has been so helpful to me. She provided me with the PDF on how to switch the cord but I’m asking her to demonstrate how this works. When you’re going to review an item like this, you need to put it to work so we can see how well does it get out creases I have a little mini Dritz iron clover makes one as well that one gets super hot. The steam is always available and it was $23. The only thing with that iron is that the cord is on the right hand side otherwise I would never think about getting another iron
@@ArabesqueScissors and I specifically mentioned that to the customer service rep at Oliso and then they sent me a replacement of the exact same iron, repeating the exact same problem. I want steam all of the time when it is on the steam setting
