328i's now pack that tiny 4cyl engine. If you open the bonnet of the F30 328i and look past the fan and the plastic trim where and engine used to be in models prior , just under the wipers , you will actually see it. There is an engine in there . A highly boosted engine that loves heat and thermodynamic stress. I have a F10 528i(190KW no turbo stock ) and a friend with a f30 328i , he just never actually has his car , it's always in the shop making him bankrupt. Where I roll with the most reliable motor they ever made. This is a true story. I also had a 4 cyl before it and it made me fall out of love with bmw for like 7 years. Til I saw the F10 528i a guy was selling . I put in an offer (I'm in SA , so cars are pricey for our 1$ minimum wage relatively but it ended up being aprox $8k . It takes forever to heat up as well. So I feel less heat and pressure as well as an engine that is undertuned in a sense is why they last so long. Like the old e36's . I used to have one in the 328i variant as my first car. It could not be killed. I used to glow it every day til 350k kilometers and sold it to a guy who drives the fuck outta it. No smoke. No issues. That's what BMW does , that's my next one will likely be the 340i as that's at least straight 6.
It's a 2011 and I've had swop offers for F30 330i's and 328i's when I did want to leave SA. But decided to keep it for now. It's literally a dream car.
Every BMW is different by year. You can't. Judge a car because someone dose not like it. There are good one's and there are problem one's. People will decide. One thing is for sure. BMWs are good cars. And the only difference is the technology's, like them or not.
Does the m skirts make the side a little lower or help give it a lower look? I just bought a CLEAN 2013 black 328i. I lowered it with springs but the sides dont really pop or look low. I have about an 1 1/4 inch drop and dont know if I should just get coilovers and drop it some more or get skirts
What can u tell me about 275/30/19 rear and 245/35/19 on mercedes w220 350 4matic? What would be the risk of any problem about that fittment? I have a lot of people telling me i am going to have problems in that. Thank you in advance!
They both sound so awesome and I couldn’t decide so I bought both. E46 M3 Interlagos and E36 Techno Violet coupe. Best $ I ever spent. Bought them when these cars were overlooked by all. Couldn’t understand why, but now they are getting the respect they deserve.
I love how you say being faster doesnt mean its better i have 2005 320i e90 and alot of people told me why did you get a 4 cylinder they weak and slow and TBH ive always believed the fact that speed and power isnt everything in a car i mean where i live speed limit is 100 and whether people believe me or not my car has no issue getting to 100 so why do i need something thats only advantage is power that i dont need and beside the 4 cylinders are more fuel efficient
E36 sounds so much better, both intake and exhaust. E46 has such a stupid sounding rasp in the exhaust note and, surprisingly the CSL intake doesn't sound as good as the one fitted to this particular E36, whatever that is it makes this E36 sound really, really badass on the intake side of things
Lmaoo 2024 and im still rocking the 320i (2018) my dad got into a car accident and he got quite a sum since it wasn’t his fault and a company vehicle crashed into his 2023 ram(totaled) insurance plus the other company nearly gave him double of his ram and he bought my sister a nice 2024 Sentra and me the bmw. He wanted to get a M4 but it being my first sports car I went with the 320i instead since I know what I can handle😅😅
Both cars not stock . So the question is, which mods sound better . The E46 has a better engine noise to my ears, but the E36 has a better exhaust sound and I'm talking stock
