there is the possibility to be able to bypass the awning function when I sit on the balcony and while it blows I do not want to collect the awning...???

Concise and clear, very easy to complete when batteries need to be replaced (awning starts retracting by itself every 30-40 minutes). Thanks.

My awning kept closing. I checked the sensor batteries and they were bad. Pit new batteries in, but I couldn't get it to work until I found this video. Thanks!

Looks interesting. It looks like a Sunsetter awning. Have some questions...is this 2010 Florida Building Code approved to be able to withstand 115MPH 3 sec wind gusts while fully open (sec. 3105.5.1)? What are the max wind speeds it's capable of handing with fully extended and open? We contacted the FBC in Tallahassee and that's what they said is required of any retractable awning in the state of Florida? Does this have to be rolled in everyday and when not at home and only used when at home monitoring the awning? What's the frame warranty and what happens if it's left out in a thunderstorm with 50MPH winds and my electric goes out or the wind sensor doesn't react quick enough? What's the frame made of (any galvanized steel or just aluminum)? Do you use Sunbrella marine & awning fabric with the 10 year warranty, another Sunbrella grade fabric or some other brand with a diff warranty? Does this need a building permit for a home in Florida? If so, can you get a building permit if required?
