I'm curious why air band in receive only on this radio. Air band transceivers are sold on the open market. I assume them to be legal to own. Am I missing something?
I’ve had the same issue with 56mm but after updating firmware on Sony a6700 through the app on the phone it’s been running smoothly, try it, thanks everyone
I wonder if it could be fixed by some heatshrink tubing around the cord? I bought a PGYTECH that uses the same kind of links and this video scares the shit out of me. I thought about switching to QD (specifically a Leofoto SP-01), but I've seen a video where one of those failed, although it was on the tripod foot of a supertele lens, so that's probably an issue of just hanging too much weight off of it. I'm trying to find a custom machined screw just like the one Smallrig supplies (standard M2.5?), but with a longer head that has a hole through it, so you can put it right into the empty hole you take the Smallrig screw out of. Then I can just keep using the triangular split rings, which these straps are designed for. I've seen a similar one on eBay (but with a ridiculous 20 piece bulk order requirement), but the hole doesn't look big enough for the triangle ring.
The triangle rings will fit on the top two mounts that cut my links. But, the concentrated weight might snap the two bars. Regular straps spread out the weigh like they were intended to be used.
For those making comments that it gave them an error, I got this procedure to work: Go into CHIRP-next and go to the radio settings, change the startup splash screen from the default Baofeng picture "logo" to "battery voltage". (Now when you start up the radio, instead of displaying a picture, it will simply say "Battery 7.8 Volts".) Now follow the procedure he has outlined in this video to upload your bitmap to the radio. Then exit the program and restart CHIRP-next. Change the setting back from "battery voltage" to "logo". This worked for me, first time. If it's merely a coincidence and had nothing to do with the battery voltage setting, if you are still getting the error message, please reply to this comment so that others can see it.
I have been using the new Lexar Silver Pro V60 cards for about 3 months now in my a7Rv. Super happy with them so far. I also use Delkin Power V90 cards which are a little faster but way more expensive.
I have used it just a few times. First time was while walking in a park near Greenville SC. There is 3 local airports that I can pick up. Just let it roll while i walked. Did not have my phone to look up channels at the time. And yes, it is slow.
V30, V60, and V90 are speed ratings for SD cards that indicate the minimum sustained speed the card can offer. The number after the V represents the minimum write speed in megabytes per second (MB/s): V30: 30 MB/s, or about 240 megabits per second (Mbps) V60: 60 MB/s, or about 480 Mbps V90: 90 MB/s, or about 720 Mbps
i have the 5rm and uv5r, though i dont have a license to transmit, dont tell the fcc but i transmit to my friend all the way two houses down on 461.31250 or 462.56250 FRS.
It does slow down a bit for me too. I find it has more issue when zoomed in. I mostly use the Oly 40-150mm pro and Raynox combo between 60mm and 100mm. I find it focuses faster in that range. For the most part I focus manually so the speed it not a problem for me.
Hello. Can you make a full tutorial? I just purchased radiacode 103 for safety measures for things I buy from japan and for travelling. Ive read throufh the manual but not knowing anything about radiation and science its a bit confusing. I bought this one specifically because of fhe size during travel. Thank you!
F4HWN firmware has 1600,2200 or 3500mHa battery settings, egzumer is old now not been updated since January, F4HWN is still developed where as egzumer is not
On the Radiacode just click down on the toggle switch once for off then once again to turn sound back on. On GMC-600+ just turn on, Tap power button once, Tap user options, then tap speaker, then tap again to turn on and off.
The Radiacode is the only one that will give you a good reading on food , water, air. But, they take a long time to get a reading on those things. The GMC-600+ is best for instantly checking high radiation items.
