Hi! My name is Sandra. Currently uploading on Sundays. On my channel you will find tutorials on card making, electronic die cutting, software and sometimes other crafts or stuff I do at home. My channel is NOT geared toward children, it is for adult crafters only. I share SVG files for those who also have cutting machines, along with hints and tips.
Thank you, this is awesome for me, I’ve never used procreate because I felt under qualified but you’ve made it seem so much easier! Thank you…. Where did you find all your brushes that you’re using - did you just use the ones already in procreate and then make them your own? I’ve got a lot to learn 😂
That’s really cool Sandra !🤩 I’m still on the fence about SCAL , but I really need to clear my craft room out and get back to actually crafting first. I’ve not done any for the last couple of years with one thing and another getting in the way. You’ve piqued my interest for Procreate too 😂
Yes, you can use a transparent page and save to png to send to SCAL for tracing. I do it all the time. I have other Procreate videos in a playlist that will teach you more.
Great videos, subscribed! I’m having a different problem. My 125e will not save the pressure settings when I change them and still show as Auto. It’ll save everything else but not that. For example, it will allow me to change the cut speed and it’ll remember that - it’ll show that I changed it to 8 instead of 5. But if I tell it to change the blade pressure to 1, 3, or any number really…the status screen in your video at 3:06 will always show the pressure at Auto. I cannot figure out how to make it save and it is driving me crazy. Running the latest firmware at 1.80. Has anyone else run into this?
@@createinspainThanks for getting back to me. Brother’s pages are, unfortunately, very generic and tend to assume the user is an idiot - “did you check to make sure the unit is on”? type stuff.
If you go through the video slowly, keep an eye on the pop up on the right when text is done and you may see the name of the font. One of them is Warmensty (may have the spelling wrong).
I appreciate your independence and know you're not going to recommend Brand X because they pay you, rather you will if they are any good! I would LOVE to have more adapters. I did get one from Sandy that I really like, but I would definitely use multiples so I could spend more crafting and less time fiddling when changing colors. If your holders would work with other pens/markers, absolutely yes! Go for it!!! I'm pretty disappointed Siser isn't moving along a little faster with basic things like that.
This is lovely! Sadly, I'm doing one now on lavender with the gray print and it's very nice!! Good reminder that more is sometimes just more -not better. Thank you!!
Nice to see the fix, it really helps to see how you recovered it. I would have binned the lot and not bothered to try and fix it, so I’ll think more about that in future. TFS . 💕Are you preferring the Juliet to your SnC ?
@@createinspain I was considering the SnC,I have a cm600 but was seriously thinking about a Wi-Fi machine..I still use Make the Cut software but it’s been abandoned(some years ago) by its creator now unfortunately, I chose that instead of SCAL back in the day🤷♀🙄😂 I’ll check out the Juliet. Thanks ☺
@@chezzie9646 If you want to, you can import SVG files into Leonardo to use, the problem being that unless you pay for the subscription, Leo won't allow saving to SVG, only its own format. It makes far more sense to buy (under 50 USD) for SCAL6, which allows you to choose many different formats for saving, to future proof your work, than have to pay every month for as long as you need it..
Thank you so much for your creative ideas and lessons! You are amazing, and I really appreciate all the educational crafting/artistic content that you share publicly. You're a gem!
@@createinspain Thank you! I've watched many of them. Extremely informative! So I tried reaching out on FB but your responses say link broken or page removedn when I try to read them. I read your about me and decided to post here 😁. Part of the message was visible in recent activity... Were you asking if I had a 3dlD printer? If so Indo if the files are available 💕 Maddie
Geez... So easy! I learn best by mucking things up. I made a "score" preset and couldn't figure out why it was scoring the entire project. Now I know! Ha! Thank you.
Is ambient light a concern with the liquid like when you use photopolymer plates? The room has to be dark so as not to expose the plates before using the UV lamp.
Appreciate this!! I have been using outside graphic software to do this but am getting tired of going back and forth. I have been whacking my way through the weeds trying to figure things out, but this lesson gave me a couple "well, duh!" moments.
Hello, although I don't have a silver bullet, I am using the software with my mh us cutter. Issue I am having there is a ghost image on my print area, my cutter cuts my image fine, but towards the end as it returns to its begging point, it puts down the blade and cuts across my newly cut vinyl, I saw a way to refresh my area it envolved highlighting the entire area ( I then saw the nodes, or nodels however you say it) I. Hit the delete button and my page was clean to start a new vinyl session. Would you know were i go to complete that optio to do this?
@@BrickcityBarbie IF the lines cut are just diagonal swipes, it indicates that you don't have a valid licence. Bear in mind that if you bought a second hand machine, the software licence is NOT transferable. If you have different lines being cut, check your work area in SCAL. You could have lines with no colour assigned and those will still cut. If neither of this applies, check that your blade is not dragging because it is stuck out too far. Other than that, I suggest you contact Craftedge tech support.
@createinspain thank you. I did and they confirmed my license is valid . They thought the same thing . My machine was purchased directly from the company. They said it could be static and changing the blades and getting a new running strip or something
Thank you Sandra you are an utter gem. Lovely clear precise instructions as always. Hopefully you have better weather in Spain than here in the UK☔️. Thank you again for sharing❤
You absolutely rock! What great ideas. Talk about thinking outside the box. Hard to believe this video is five years old already. But as current today as it was when you made it.👍🏼 Thank you!
