Technically it's not self-defense because the mother wasn't repeatedly slapping her. Unless she punched his mom to stop her from slapping her again. But, I'm not sure if she can file a case for an assault, since she retaliated. But I'm sure she could file a case against her ex husband for harassment.

When I was 10 I got my period I got up to use the bathroom because it felt like I was gettIng stabbed in the stomach and when I got up to wipe I saw blood it was like one in the morning already and I started screaming to my mama and she woke up and I said mama I think I started my period and most of my periods are super painful to the point I take Tylenol is a painkiller and me and my mama been had the talk so yeah it wasn’t to bad for my first period.
