Love the vibe of this! And the slide guitar. This gives me cosmic American music vibes. Thank you so much for checking out my band old capital square dance club.
Absolutely fantastic review! Well done. My needs are right in line with this guitar, having the brighter sound of maple and the very bright metallic sound of the resonator. I’m looking for a guitar that I can accompany a rich lower sound of a rosewood Martin D28 in my church duo and this fits the bill. Just wish it had a pickup for amplifying Thanks so much for this video
I got one for my son for the holidays. Admittedly I don't know that much about guitars. We've ran into issues with the bottom peg near the base that holds the guitar strap. It keeps coming out. We brought it back to the guitar store and the manager said the peg was far too lose and couldn't be fixed, so he gave us a replacement - same model G9200. We tried a strap and it a hard fit, but it seemed ok. My son let me know that as soon as he tried using it in school band, the peg popped off again. Also, the replacement model has a loud disjointed twang the emits from the resonator itself. We didn't notice this noise on the first model as it seemed crisp. Has anyone has similar issues? I'm considering returning it altogether and finding a different model, but my son likes the feel of guitar.
Im itching for the rockerverb 50. This sounds so killer! The clean has baeaitiful chime and the verb is great. Nice job, and of course this thing slays in the gain department.
Been wanting one of these for a while now. Seen every video on these several times. Gonna pull the trigger. Leon's review is my favorite. I like how he doesn't give a shit.
Thanks for the video. I’m a tenor guitar player, and I’m thinking about their maple, long scale tenor. But I couldn’t find anybody playing a demo with a pick. Since I don’t use a slide, I really needed to hear some Pickin and some strumming. I think I’m gonna put it in the order for that guitar very soon. Again, thank you for the great video.
Hey, thanks for playing fingerstyle as so many only demo these resos with a slide. It really helps to hear it played without the slide to really get a sense of the cone and it's brightness! Well done!!!!
My local rehearsal studio has these stocked as their main amps. I was blown away by this one. Even at the highest volumes (in a metal band), every single note was clear as day. Definitely going to be my next amp.
Hello, I see that you've reviewed many of the Outlaw Supply pedals. Where were they built? The Bluebird Tremolo is always on in my chain and I'd like to know more about it, thanks!
Fox News told him to hate things made in China and he is obeying like a good little idiot. Also, he definitely typed his useless comment on a phone that was made in China.
🔵 thanks for the demo on the tricone ❕ - it is quite bright and loud as you say. so i recently bought the RK RM-991 bell brass tricone in hopes of elliciting some metallic but warmer tones from it as i play finger-style guitar for the most part and hopefully learn some slide ❕👍 🐊 🐸🍀 anyhow if they sold Royall in Canada i might have gone for it , as it is we generally have a good supply of Gretsch and RK resonators to choose from 😐
I see you use the slide on your middle finger. Do find that limiting at all? Most slide instructors seem to recommend the pink or the ring, leaving some fingers for fretting. The middle seems more comfortable to me.
