It's astounding to me that Word is such trash and yet has such a monopoly in this area. Surely some college student could make a better product. This indents thing has been a problem for many years, possibly over a decade; I don't really care if it is indented or not - I just want it to choose 1 way and stay that way. Not a mix. A child should be ashamed to turn in a paper with sloppy mismatched indents like that, yet Word is expected to be used for professional documents and legal documents. Absolute trash.

Your video and tutorials here are so helpful! Is there a way to automatically combine 2 different columns (both containing words) from one sheet and populate into another much like these examples? For instance, I have an archival inventory Excel file where one worksheet has within it the phrase "box 1" (and box 2, and so on) and the adjacent column contains the descriptive text of what is in each box. I'd like to auto populate the combined info from those 2 columns into another excel file, so that the cell in the new file would say "Box 1: description...".

Hi Chester, could explain how you would export invoice(s) or a formatted form(loan draw cover sheets, conditional liens, unconditional liens) that kind of works in a reverse order to the data entry to printed area and flows through the log with the data starting in a table/log and runs through row by row where the formulas populate the print area (like your invoice template) and goes through to the next row down and repeats the process until the last line in your log. So new 6 lines of row entries in your log create 6 invoice PDFs? This would really help me in my line of work where I either enter data into a table or log or manipulate data from somewhere else and paste into a log or table and it creates forms in PDFs with a formulaic naming convention.

Hello Chester. Thanks for the formula. The issue I'm having is I can get the YTD totals correctly but I have multiple years of data. I'm using a drop down menu to select a date. Let's say Aug-23. I want the YTD revenue through August 2023, so Jan-23- Aug-23. When I switch to 2024, the running totals continue and I just want to 2024 figures. Do I need a sumif included with a formula like above?
