I was thinking of trying the Skin Silk after I bought the Relove Super Serum and the shades were off, but the way it layed on my skin it was so hydrating and natural looking I decided to stick with Super Serum before trying the Skin Silk for maybe a better shade match, but your review helped me tons. I use started using the Phoera soft matt foundation just to try it out.... i wont use anything else now as it is amazing and the price is also just as amazing
nah the ND just does something special. I tried it on in the store today and was blown away,it like firmed up my undereye loose skin I get when I smile and no creasing. Ive heard neutrogena is a dupe but I will have to try it
Have you tried the Ulta Beauty Complexion Crush foundation? It’s a beautiful foundation I think you would really like. They just re-did all their packaging but I think the formulation is the same. I’ve gone thru one tube and on to my backup. I’ll get another back up when the line has gwp with purchase, hopefully soon.

Hi Laura, I’m so glad you did these video. I’ve been interested in the reformulated CG foundation but wasn’t sure if it was scented. I tried the original because it was on clearance at CVS, but oh boy, did my skin react to it. My skin doesn’t normally too much to anything but this one (old formula) made my skin itch really bad. Could’ve been the fragrance (noxzema) I don’t know. I had to pass it along to someone else. I’m not sure now if I’ll try the new version. I do like that it’s in a tube. Side note: I finally got my hands on the about face foundation. I love it, very natural looking on the skin, doesn’t cake up. Only thing for me is because I’m oily especially in the summer, it’s not lasting as long especially around my very oily t-zone 🫤. I’m curious how if it will last in the fall/winter months. Anyway it’s a good one for the price.

I also agree with you on the CG eyeshadow palette. It is one of my " go to" palettes for a very easy eye look. I have considered buying a back up of this b/c it is so easy to use. I thought the blush looked very pretty on you as well
The Covergirl Clean has become my go to foundation this summer. I much prefer the squeeze tube over using any type of pour bottle- much less messy. I usually use my Laura Geller powder foundation buffed over this lightly to give it a little bit more coverage & to set it.

Thank you for letting me know! It’s so hard for me to tell. There’s no filter, and this was mostly natural light. I had one small light on, but maybe too close. I’ll play around with the placement for next time. ❤
If I may, a little constructive feedback. Not sure if your using a filter, but your lighting is so bright, its almost hard to tell a difference between the before and after on your foundation. A more natural light to show the actual results would be helpful.

I think these companies are getting cheaper and cheaper on us.......I dont want these crummy squeezy tubes. I prefer a nice glass bottle with a pump. ELF satin foundation is equally good and comes in much better packaging.
@@9023rsd I like it! It’s very hydrating, almost sticky like the It cosmetics bye bye under eye. Not my favorite, but it lasted all day and covered pretty well.
The video looked too bright and washed you out. I think it was too much white in the background, your shirt and the natural light. Not the norm from your other videos. But the content was really good. I was laughing when you were surprised in how beautiful the foundation and powder was looking on you. I’ve been on a very low buy, I need to get through some makeup. I want to freshen my blush but have too many I enjoy. Maybe it’s time to let them go.
@@March5546 yes, I just couldn’t make this one work. I was so disappointed. I will be doing a review soon of all the foundations I’ve purchased this year and whether I would repurchase. Unfortunately this isn’t one of them!

Hi there! The brush was actually a sample brush I got as a gift for a purchase. It’s an It Cosmetics brush. Unfortunately I’ve never seen it for sale. 😩.

I think what Laura’s trying to say is that the foundation blended into her skin really well. Foundation is to even out your skin and the foundation she used did exactly that!
