This channel is dedicated to increasing educational accessibility for all students. The videos I create are intended to ultimately allow students to accomplish their academic and non-academic goals. :) If you EVER have a recommendation for a video, feel free to reach out to me at: pjuthani@berkeley.edu. Thanks, and I hope you find these videos useful!
My videos will eventually include: - Insights into personal resources I used in college/medical school. - Student Profiles that highlight the journeys of other college students and the advice they have to offer. - Answers to very common questions that incoming students often have regarding college. - Walkthroughs of college-level science/math problems. - Updates regarding breakthroughs in science. - Much more!
Ehhh I'm not sure it suggests that medical students are necessarily studying more effectively. Another explanation is that medical schools have heavily geared themselves to preparing you for an exam. By and large, med students graduate with very little practical, hands-on experience. Clinical rotations for many students are just sucking up a lot of time. Not much critical thinking goes on either. Students graduate able to score high on an exam, but they're not becoming better doctors for it.
I can't help to think about burn out... and work life balance problems. A neurosurgeon in this actual system literally has to breathe, sleep and eat neurosurgery, and nothing else. that will not produce the best doctor, you will be a robot
I 61 female have always had a healthy low resting heart rate 35-50 on average but a few times it has dropped to 30 when in deep rem sleep recorded on my Apple Watch.I always freak out those in the medical profession when they first examine me LOL.I then explain i am very physically active running, bicycling, rucking.I do however have a heart murmur but it has never given me any problems. Also have a good VO2 and a healthy low blood pressure, unfortunately my low resting heart rate i have trouble on occasion donating my O neg blood and have been turned away because of it
Appreciate you taking your time during residency to bring this content for us, future sufferers. 😂 Would love to see you break down data from NRMP Fellowship as well, I know it’s not updated but I haven’t seen anyone talking about it the past years and it’s a bit more obscure since NRMP doesn’t release it yearly.
Thanks for your effort Prerak. I have been watching your videos for years now, and i will not study in the US , but rather in Europe. Your content always inspires me to do better . Thanks, best regards from Colombia
always gotta remember that at the end of glycolysis, two pyruvate are produced, and that input of ATP for the energy investment phase is two ATP, so 2 pyruvate produce 4 atp - 2 atp = 2 ATP net. But Q was not asking for net, instead it was asking for total (tricky!) so 4 atp. ✔
what, but if both parent are color blind, and color blindness is an X linked recessive trait, then the only way the mother can be color blind is to be homozygous for the recessive trait; and the only way the father can be color blind is for him to have the trait on his X chromosome. Therefore, having both parents being color blind (not the mother carrying the color blind trait), then wouldn't we get a 100% chance the daughter will be color blind, thereby making D true? ✔
Basically get raped in govt. College And AIIMS then get your research in third year. What's the point of usmle or masters when you have been raped by men in hostel.
