Hi. I am so glad I found this. I had finished both sides of a similar pattern with more detail from armholes to neckline. did the arms as well and stitched up the sides to find this was never going to be worn by my daughter .. anyway put it down and now with christmas coming i want to finish it without starting 100% over. What I have done is stitch down to the armholes as they are massively too long and will recreate them after I seam. Mine is at least 15 stitches too wide ( so 30 a side) I may have additional questions so I hope you 👀 back at this blog. Anyway here I go! and THANK YOU for making the video.

My question is , the neck opening on a sweater I made is too small for the child’s head. I casted off too tight and didn’t have the child try the sweater on before I blocked it. Can i take up the cast off and redo it? Alpaca yarn
@tomschipper4833
@tomschipper4833 Год назад
Yes, I would take off the cast and redo it looser. You may be able to stretch it with blocking since it is wool.

Great idea to have one notebook for for all calculations, messy thoughts and whatever you want. I have worked with post-it notes so far and just keep loosing them... Thanks for the inspiration! Hälsningar från Sverige. 🇸🇪😃

i've always been told to put newspaper or paper towels inside of shoes to let them dry, i'm guessing it'd be wise to block rounded knitwear in a similar manner

This is a great video. Thank you. I have one question: what did you do at the armholes? How did you treat it so it wouldn’t pucker?

I am working on my first project with cascade 220 superwash merino and just find out it might grow after being washed. I was worried, then I am so glad to see your test! Now I can continue my work without panic.🤣

Is it basically just a SSK? (only you knit the stitches and then slip and then knit it them together?)

This isn't a tutorial so much as a hard-to-see demonstration. Very blurry and no real explanation of what's being done. Some narration, but no instruction :-(

The problem I have is that your hands were in the way so couldn’t see a lot of the work and the video was to fast for beginners thank you
@korichamberlain
@korichamberlain 2 года назад
I can see that, but it's so frustrating sitting through beginner videos every time you just need a quick refresh. Trust me, those super slow videos get old real quick.

The bag was such a good idea!! By the way, when you say these can be done "very fast" and "in 2 or 3 days," how much time are you saying you spend each day on the work? Thanks
