I've been for long walks before, even if I've walked for hours I still manage to get home. I once spent over an hour cycling to a remote village, not once did I think of calling 999, get a taxi or a bus. When I'm lost I just as people where the bus stops are or where the train station is. There was no need to call 999, silly man!!!!

Gee, what an ass hole. I hope he went to jail for many years. This isn't funny, my dad fell and broke his skull a few years ago. Pricks like this wasting time on purpose should be fined and jailed. Nake an example of to dissuade other would be hoax callers, what a dick.

This case was so shocking to me, i still think of this girl many years on. I pray for her soul still this day. May her soul be in peace. Women like me pray for years to have daughters.. for people like this to have no value for human life.. it makes me sick. I hope she haunts them every waking day of their lives. Unbelievable. The offender should never ever be allowed to get behind the wheel ever again. Once again it’s the innocent people that get caught up and sadly perish. Thoughts are with the victims and their families.
The fact that Nurcin was 'serving' a suspended sentence for GBH at the time of this incident only highlights what a complete and utter mess our judiciary is in. Nurcin should never have been on the road. He should have been behind bars where he belonged. Our thoughts are with the lady who lost her life and the other who was seriously injured as a result of this coward's actions. "The police are not a taxi service" There's one jacka** whom you may or may not have heard of, who recently got arrested by armed police (under powers relating to public order) at Horse Guards in London after blatantly disrespecting the King's Guards there. He has a TikTok, in which he does these "Uber pranks", which involve going up to marked police vehicles (including Armed Response Vehicles) and asks "Is this my Uber?" I, too, am at a loss as to what the point of that could be. But I think the best answer is to calmly remind him that the police most certainly are not a taxi service. The difference, of course, is that when you travel in a taxi, you have to pay the driver - you're breaking the law if you don't. But if you offer payment to a police officer, you'll get arrested immediately for bribery. Paying our police officers is the job of His Majesty's Government!
