Many, many thanks bringing back so much good memorys from decades ago. Snorkeling on the Great Bariere Reef was my best emotional experience in life. The colours of the fishes, which are not in fear, dont flee, and the underwater environment itself pushed tears in my eyes, so beautiful. I was guided, secured by a crew member. Its one of the experiences you have to do in your life for sure.
Lived in cairns for bout 30 yrs an did ok now and then fishing but stumbled on a small hole in the old yacht moorings (no longer in use) about 200m south of the creek on the western side of the river opposite Trinity wharf. Caught barra/jack/fingermark and jewies at that spot every time we fished there it was awesome.
@@unchartedadventures yeh mad if u don’t mate it was pretty strange as we tried the moorings within 50m all around it an caught bugger all? But every time we moored sideways to the current between those two piles we always caught fish?? I think I have the gps plots on it so will pm to u if I find them as it’s a gem spot 👌I think its an old sunken yacht that has been swallowed up by the mud an maybe collapsed as it was strange looking on the sounder??
@@unchartedadventures thanks for your comment Adam. Beginning of jan I was out with fossies fishing adventure but we just had average seizes. I am looking for Barramundi or other great fighters between dec and march, in case rain season hasnt started that time.
