Sad to hear that you are not well. Indeed, you motivated us, and thank you so much for the good work you did. May the good Lord heal you and bless you and your family. I hope you will still be reachable on whatsapp and email. Thank you once more, and get well soon.
Hi,thanks for your informative video. I studied electrical engineering in the university and joined job as Level 1 automation engineer. For me automation engineering is very challenging and interesting job, In electrical engineering, a person can be doing good if study the electrical system throughly, but in automation own creative thinking is also involved.
Was a tech for 45 years. Can’t count the number of times I have been standing in the rain at 2 AM with a supervisor standing right behind me tapping his foot and looking at his watch while I desperately try to figure out what is wrong with the equipment. Get used to pressure. Get used to dropping whatever you are doing in your personal life (sleeping, eating, playing with your kids, mowing the lawn, etc.). Get used to idiots calling you at 2AM because the equipment doesn’t appear to be operating properly, driving to the plant, and finding out that they forgot to open a valve. PLC/instrument techs get payed a lot for a reason.
I will never play along with the monopoly of Allen Bradley and Siemens, whoever wants to make these companies richer welcome, I have had projects for more than twenty years working and making upgrades with PLCs from different brands, they do the same!!! More economical!! And even in some cases, better functions such as Rest API, OPC UA, it seems like a robbery to me that just by checking a box on the portal they charge you 1000 dollars just to enable OPC UA, that's it!!
You’re video has been very helpful to me when I was studying automation engineer. Now i am an automation engineer and working full time with plc, scada, robots etc…. God bless you
Very good advice for those who want to become an automation engineer. I am an automation engineer and working with plc, scads. Robot and more… Practice is the key for success.
Actually, becoming automation engineer and learning plc programming is not so difficult. Just start to learn from good RU-vid tutorials and begin to practice. I became an automation engineer within 3 years and now working fully with plc and robot. Check my channel also, its maybe helpful if you want to learn programming.
