Making reaction videos whilst offering general assessments about the music and films that I review, can at times be humorous, but overall just a guy on RU-vid
imo Arise is by far their best album. Beneath the Remains is great but Arise has perfect production (Chaos AD is a little too clean for my tastes), it's heavier, the musicianship is better, the riffs are more memorable, Max's voice is better, it has more variety, more hooks, it's just better overall. Chaos AD starts off so strong with Refuse/Resist and especially Territory which is one of the best songs they ever did but after Propaganda (which I'm a big fan of) it drops off. Roots is too much nu metal, not a great album. But Max's voice got better and better sadly as the albums got weaker. They were always a front-loaded album band, including Arise but no band can sustain Dead Embryonic Cells and Desperate Cry level of quality for 45 minutes. His voice on Roots is incredible, definitely the best thing about that album. You should check out Procreation of the Wicked!!! It's a cover of a Celtic Frost song and it is tremendous.
I miss you you were the first reaction dude I ever watched. Get Rich or Die Tryin is in my top 20 all time. I never heard anything like it I had never heard Eminem or where he puts accents. All in all I think the song Heat Is the best song on the album and anyone who hasn't listened to this that's my age is really cheating themselves
Wow I never saw this reaction or realize that people will come to your page or any page where you're checking out something new and they're going to criticise what you have to offer them. I don't think people realize that there's no original ideas left. Stravinsky said a good artist borrows but a great artist steals. Dear people my age snap out of it
-----I heard THIS record being played in a record store; while having a discussion with my brother, about HIP-HOP being "DEAD...in 96'..." *(---as the song played behind me... I couldn't stop looking back from where the sounds were coming from; ---I lost all concentration of my topic and just kept listening!!!) ----I immediately, asked the store's DJ/Owner about who that was...and he said, "DJ Shadow... he's from Oxnard, CA..." ----I asked for CD immediately!!! *(---he told me that he was all sold out of CD's...but he had the German Pressed Double-Disk Album...on Record's...) ----I brought it home ...and lost all sense of time, -listening to THIS SONG...repeatedly. 😊
Love listening to first timers on Pink Floyd. I raped my dad’s records as a kid. Full volume headphones. They don’t make em like this anymore. Creativity is a production and individuality is a sin. They have to be one of the most cohesively creative bands of all time. The synchronicity is all but perfection.
One of the loudest band ever, in 1984 in Cleveland they had a gig stopped because the ceiling had cracked and bits of plaster were starting to fall on the audience. I promise you that there was nothing "metronomic" about Lemmy's bass!
This song is the other side of the coin from Send Her My Love (on the same album) one is about fighting to sustain relationship while on the road, and the other is looking back on a relationship he ended because he knew he couldn't sustain it on the road. When both these songs were written Journey had been touring (up to 160 dates a year) pretty much constantly for four years.
Jay I discovered while looking for a reactor. I saw a video from a few months back, Holding back the years, also Marvin Gaye, What's going on. Wow, I love how well you interpret songs, you have a sexy intelligence that makes me wanting to hear other reactions. If you want to hear another soulful song by Simply Red, you must react to" If you don't know me by now."Gosh why are you not reacting more? You have a fan from.NY. Love your dimple by the way. Sofia
A top notch song,... but you have some "REAL WEIRD" facial expressions,.. and "REALLY PSYCHO" mannerisms as well, muh dood. Like you've just sat on "another nail" 10 times,.. or you've "just crashed down the stairs eating an ice cone "ON YOUR ROLLER SKATES" again. So,.. out of curiousity, and just kind'a wonder'n. Is this daily behaviour normal for you,.. or is it just kind'a made up kind'a stuff. And please,.. be a man,.. and no tell'n porkies Ok !! As, this is a RU-vid site,.. and "deliberate fibbing here" is mega frowned upon,.. and not very kosher,.. dood fella !! 🖐️🤔😲🤔👆

I actually lived this life, am recovering, only smoke weed, drinks on the weekends, and occasional mushrooms.. but a lot of other things were on the table in the past.
This song was about " The Vietnam War. Marvin's brother had just came home from The Vietnam War... If you were living at this time my young brother.. You would have probably been Drafted into the war,,,, like so young men 18 years or older... This song is very serious..
