This was a really good CD, I was extremely shocked that the remix of "Not over You Yet" wasn't put on it, instead that horrible slow version, the Motown promotion was horrendous.
Back in 1996, the way this would shake the room at Ozz in Buena Park, CA was nuts. It was like everyone took a break from cruising and life in general to dance to this song. The twinks, the bears, femme, masc, everyone let Junior and Cher take over and there was a sense of unity among us that we all had this in common, our love of the song that sometimes would be played twice in a row, or least the 2nd half, build up to the climax DJ Mike would play twice and the place would go into a frenzy. 🎉
Omg I loved Ozz to pieces! My friends and I would travel from so many miles away to go there because it was the only 18+ club for miles, and always had a blast. I heard Gina G's "Ooh Aah... Just A Little Bit" three times one night when it first came out. Good times, noodle salad.
This song should have been released as the dance version and not a ballad. Dance floor would go crazy at Probe in Los Angeles when the DJ would throw it at us out of nowhere every weekend. I can still feel the enegy
14 years after the original release of this song The Cahill version is the song that Robbie should have released to begin with can't believe the difference in his song versus this song my God it's like night and day Cahill needs to get the credit for making the song Something Robbie sorry your song sucked until Cahill got a hold of it so just a plain simple truth and I still listen to it here it is 2022 and I think to myself my God the first time I heard it was back in 2008 on a Delta Airlines flight and it was the Cahill version it wasn't your song Robbie Delta Airlines was playing this version of the song on their in-flight Entertainment System and it hasn't changed for me this is the best song ever of this particular song Sorry maybe you need to contact Cahill next time you write a song and he will help you out and make it much more pleasable to the people your first song really sucked until he got a hold of it so there you go
