This universe is more realistic than y'all think, in that universe USA were overpopulated, the deepening economical crisis was creating anger in the society, because of that anger people were fighting with each other, that is exactly what is happening in the UK now since few months, if there would come out new NFFA like party in the UK that would allow people to unload that anger in purge night on each other rather on the government, they could win the election lol
I've never seen any of the films, but I know the premis. In reality, if she was out on the streets dressed like that on a Purge night, she'd have been raped in seconds flat, armed to the teeth or not.
