These are nice to look at but wish it disassembled more to make it lighter . 59 lbs is much for a elderly person to be truly independent and put it in the car and take out and with no hitch how do they expect ppl to tow their groceries? I’ll keep looking tho . It looks nice if a person just wants to aimlessly roll around town tho
Where are these walkers made from and and the brand name and what is the cost because I know that Medicare won't cover. I am not a fan of those seats either. My other upright walker collapsed on me and I am looking for a good replacement good quality one. Thanks
I have one of these Solax transformers and love it, however I have had several problems with it, they are:- (1) The two screws that hold each foot plate on to the steering cross arm fell out due to road vibrations, this is because no one at the factory had put Adhesive Threadlocker on the screw to stop them coming undone. (2) Even though I regularly tightened the locking screws the arm rests kept falling down so I put diagonal braces on the arm rests to hold them up. (3) The screws holding the back rest fell out and I had to replace them, they should have been fitted with nylon self locking nuts. (4) Four months after buying my mobility scooter three tiny screws holding the remote control together, fell out scattering parts in all directions, Solax failed to replace it under warranty. Solax could do better and should do better, their good name is suffering.
I have been searching for several months for the rear cargo shelf you have in this video. No one seems to sell them in the US and they won't sell one to me from Australia. How did you get yours???
These UPwalkers are in the $400 to $600 range. The economy walkers can be had for about $50 to $60 and the video is misleading a bit in that the height of the economy walker is also adjustable.
Having just purchased one of these There needs to be a feedback page for owners to discus without public comments , like when driving home and it starts raining what your going to do about The controller joystick that's Not waterproof and shorts making seat raising and footrest raise up uncontrollable until joystick is dried and covered with a plastic bag , come on guys Its an off road and 4x4 ? there must be a better controller on the market other than that Permobil one
