My original ending :'D. And someone even if it was extremely sad felt really appropriate. Alette saw the majority of the people that follow her die either in a fight or to protect her.. Or going away. She became really angry at the world while trying to remain hopeful. Her death was devastating to me (especially since I SAVED the dredge child but misclicked and went out alone) but in a sense was even more fitting! Let other carry the fight. She deserved peace!
I had a different ending, because in my case Rook survived. But in a way, seeing reunion of the family in the afterlife seems more happy in a way. And a bit more sad.
