NEVER use WD-40 for that. It will crystalize over time. Use the contact cleaner (with a rag because it will lift paint) and then get a CRC spray lube called 223 sparingly. Lubricates, won't attract dirt and improves electrical conductivity. ALL the switches on my 1500 stuck and now they work fine.
I ordered some over five weeks that never arrived. They say they arrived but didnt. They were being shipped from china. If i want to speak to someone they want me to pay them to speak about it. As far as im concerned its a fake company and a scam.
Sweet bike I have a 95 20th I was wondering where you get that piece under the fairing the bigger chrome strip I know that's pretty old SKOOL they make it anymore.? 🇺🇸👍🏻
@@mestivra6711 make sure to order from Dixxon on their app . There are a lot of scams right now saying you can get a shirt for $5… Like most things in life - if it sounds too good to be true , it probably is ! 👍
Keeping in mind Goldwings from 88 - 94 though had " Low seats " the bike was still considered tall and made it hard for a lot of people to ride. From 95 to 2000 ( the end of the 1500 ) they lowered the seat more making a bit more user friendly. I had a 93 for 2 years, sold it.. regretted it, and now I have a 99 that once serviced will hopefully be back on the road again.
I've had a HD dresser for yrs sold it didn't have a bike for a while. I bought a Goldwing/94 model nice bike to ride. I did fine the stopping a bit fun at first I soon realised to apply rear brake when you come to a full stop other that the shafh drive was new to me but good to ride.👍🍻
I bought 7 my first purchase, I'm absolutely addicted to them I bought 7 more my 2nd purchase. Can't wait for my 3rd purchase. Buy on sale. They are nice, worth it 👌
I rode with a man with a 93 Gold Wing and two years ago he had 276,000 on it. this year he has 290,000 miles on it. They run forever. I also have one but it only has 74,000 on it.
Your 'second step' was exactly what I needed... I cleaned out the pilot light orifice, but still couldn't get gas to come through to the main burner. When I opened up the back, I had some slight corrosion around the burner orifice. I cleaned that off and the burner is working properly. Thank you for the tips for the screw locations. Very simple... very easy.
I’ve never been on a 1500 but the 2016 f6b and 22 tour ride great! They can go all day long! Since the engine is so low, the COG is low and makes it easy to ride
@@cemetarygates2800 Yeah man, my old lady thinks she has taken all the credit cards. I just got 2 in the male today and got 2 more coming. Yeah bro, I have the sickness BAD. I downloaded their app, so I am screwed.
CRC is what to use on switch buttons! I worked for gemtop canopies, using crc on cutoff saw. CRC made my hands so soft, computer screen has hard time identifying my fingerprints! When WD an crc didn't work on ignition switch I got positive results adding brake cleaner to switch!
I like my Dixxons but they’re absolutely not worth more than retail. I’d recommend buying them around Black Friday/Christmas or when they have sales unless there’s a color/pattern you REALLY like. Definitely don’t pay eBay prices.
