Hi, loved your video on EBC, I’m going this September (2024) with my son (I’m 60) would love to know how you used the Wim Hof breathing method to help with Altitude Sickness? Cheers Eric (Perth)
Glad you liked our video. I had a look at this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LMYgjK74sUo.html to give me some idea of what to do if I start to feel the altitude and also have a Blood oxygen meter to check levels. www.amazon.com.au/Fingertip-Oximeter-Saturation-Batteries-Australian/dp/B09VBLV4TG Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback. My daughter helped edit and narrate the video, she's very talented poet, photographer and actor. If you need any contacts in Kathmandu for a fully guided tour with everything taken care of just let me know and ill send links.Hope you get to see the majestic wonder we experienced and don't forget to take lots of pics.
Hey, that's an amazing video! Thanks a lot. Wanted to know if you found any particular hardships or risks in your experience apart from the once you mentioned in the video? Do you think it is apt to go there in September for someone as old as 60 yrs of age?
Hi, Thanks for your kind words on the video. September should be fine although I would advise going later In the month if you can to ensure good weather. The main hardships we faced were; 1. the Altitude - the best way to fight this is through intentional breathing and keeping a slow a steady pace. Also making sure to take acclimation days and not push yourself- listen to what your body is asking from you. If you stay ahead of loosing your breath you should be fine. 2. Toilet Paper- no where provides toilet paper so make sure you have a roll or two in your pack 3. Bad Weather/ Low Visibility- we went in off season so this was the price we paid but if you can go closer to the end of September/beginning October that's more ideal and you will see more on the day to basecamp. However the crowds can be quite intense in peak season. 4. Flying to Lukla- the weather also impacted our flights and ended in us having to pay $1000 extra for a helicopter and rushing the hike. Leave at least an extra 4 days as a buffer when booking your return international flight as safety for unforeseen weather. Especially if you are going in off season.
Thank you for the video! Well documented and narrated :) I'm planning to go this September, so I was curious to see what the weather is going to be like. We have some choices - so we will try delay it until the end of Sept. if possible! Glad you guys got clear skys on that final day :D
We trekked to Everest base camp from August 28 - Sept 16 2022. If you need more info go to my Blog for the full itinerary and more. Hope you do make the trek it's amazing. www.andremartinphoto.com/blog/guide-to-mt-everest-j3r9m
Both the ad on FB and this video provided almost zero useful information. What's the difference between self-cooking and intelligent cooking (out of stock)? It doesn't use gas or electricity? What the hell does it use? Solar energy? Batteries?

Why the silly cowboy. It is ridiculous. When introducing a new concept, your marketing person should have advised you that with no brand inertia behind you, you must signal credibility not whackiness.
Hi. I use a Profoto D1 1000 flash with the strip light. Lenses are 24-70 L 2.8, Tilt shift lens 90mm 2.8, 70-200mm F4 L IS zoom lens, You can always use a speed light instead of an expensive flash it will give you same results specially shooting wide open lens, just get an adaptor to hold it to your light modifier. Paper diffuser is from a photography shop specially made for photo use, lookup lee filters or Rosco filters code E 216 and diffusion to purchase a roll for around $100- 25 feet.

hello! im a street photographer and now i gonna start a little gastronomic photography adventure. Do you think a speedlight with NG60 can work with good quality in a softbox 100x80cm (godox v860ii speelight) or better a 200watts light (godox ad200)? I think buy flashes, and i dont know if a speedlight combo can be a good choice: x2 godox v860ii (can be at same price x4 godox tt658 but i dont like much the AA energy) and can add a V1 later (NG 91).... or buy x1 v869ii with a one Ad200 (200w)... all bad ideas, better something like a 400w strobe? thank you

Unhelpful. Most of the people watching this video can't afford that gear. A full time food photographer don't watch RU-vid videos to improve its job quality.
Check out Ebay for similar gear that's very affordable second hand, and yes pro photographers are always trying to evolve and improve their photography.
