Apologies in advance to Cilla fans but apparently she was horrible in real life. The whole 'Chirpy Scouser' thing was just for the telly. She lived in a mansion in Buckinghamshire, hadn't been anywhere near Liverpool for decades and British Airways staff were known to groan in dismay when told she was on their flight - she was well known for treating cabin crew like dirt.

My mum, who opened the door and was in the choir lol, got to hear her mums voice for the first time in years and you have no idea how much that meant to her. Thank you so much! ❤️
