If you need a Transfer case rebuilt or upgraded (4X4) or a 4L60e upgraded up to a 4L75e or a 4L80e rebuilt let me know. (STOCK OR PERFORMANCE) I do not do BUDGET builds and will not use cheap parts PERIOD. You would be surprised how performance parts are not expensive for transmissions. Most transmission are PURE rip offs. Custom aluminum cold air intakes and custom Stainless steel exhaust welding.
I have read all the comments. I have not found an answer for the question, What is the crimping die part number is for doing the double wire for the head lamp wiring? Thank you for this video.
I never bought the die because I sold the car I was going to do the AAW kit with. maybe you could call wirefy and ask them directly! Thats what I would do.
Just bought this myself and watched this looking for ways to tie it that make sense… by the way you got them stored incorrectly. The longest file goes by itself on the very left secured by that single uppermost Velcro strap. Ok bye

I've been better, had to have shoulder surgery. Got my new motor 3/4 away done and then this happened . But hopefully before too long, I'll be able to turn a wrench again and finished my build.
KNIPEX is the best of the best German quality you can't beat them with the choice of professional engineers, I've tested Wirefy crimping tools and found them to either under-crimp or over-crimp both of which produce poor electrical and mechanical properties thereby overestimating expectations plus you'll find they are copies of much cheaper makes
I own and love KNIPEX tools. Hands down. The price is what keeps me away most of the time. I dont need super high $$$$$$$$ tools to use only a few times. Thanks for watching
@hybridmusclegarage4590 I agree. Unless you're constantly crimping for work or at home, it doesnt make sense to go all in on a crimping set worth hundreds of dollars.
I have this tool...its the worst $100 i ever spent. The threaded rid tries to thread into the sikver bracket with the forks. I took it apart and used the silver part with forks in a hydraulic press and threw the rest away
Nice work! Steering column clock spring on my wife's car recently imploded. On the newer cars this $40 part is what gets all of the steering wheel controls electrically connected to the rest of the car. I was quoted $480 to replace it and that was just labor. First time ever doing it took me 20 minutes from start to finish after disconnecting the battery so the air bag wouldn't go off. The dealerships around here are beyond dishonest!

@@hybridmusclegarage4590 I thought it might have been part of a toxic clean up set or something but nooo...I bought a 6 gallon bucket from Grainger a couple year ago and that was $60. There are some really nice sump pump liners with flat bottoms for $30 from Walmart and Homo Despot....Sometimes you want to purchase what fits the purpose and it is easiest just to use what the other person used. Do you think these headers will clear the motor mounts & not rub with say a set of dirty dingo slider mounts or a set of stock clamshells with ict billet swap plates? Reason I ask is I have both lol don't want to buy hooker specific mounts if I don't have to. Looks like clearance is tight around the mount itself

You cant buy it. You have to make it. I'm really surprised no one (company) has massed produced this tool. Its super awesome and and super easy to use with no force or burning up the shoulder muscles from constant hand twisting. Just find you a old converter and cut it open. I am currently building a new 12x24 shop for my new up coming videos on transmission builds. So I cant make you one till my shop is built. Look at my other trans videos for tools. they will help you also!
@@hybridmusclegarage4590 Yes sir it should be patented. I'm dealing with torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders but doing the best i can. You can see why i love this tool lol. Best of luck to you with your new shop and thanks for the reply.
Test the two Take two pieces of sheet metal 12x12, form into a bowl of some sort Then put a piece of each brand on the sheet metal Put ice in the formed bowls, put over a heat source. See what ice melts faster
Yes brother, the constant high RPMs will smoke almost every pump out there. People try different size pulleys but it still kills it. When I was building the pumps they would come in and you could tell it died because the constant high rpms. I am going to put the Ford/Volvo hydro/electric power steering pump. They have controllers on E-Bay now for less then $100. Some are like $50. It'll take the load off of the engine as well. Those brakets look awesome!!!!
I am building a Ls3/6L80e swap for my 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor with my grandkids. Ice cream and burnouts pretty much. But when she is living on redline, I'm just going to killing pumps and alternators. So I will be installing the Ford/ Volvo pump in my Vic. The cool thing is it'll work with out the car running in case you have to push her or something. Not sure how long the battery would last lol.
