Hey guys, welcome to my channel. I am from Windsor Ontario. Here I railfan the CP Windsor Sub which runs from London ON. to Windsor Yard here in Windsor. The sub see's about 15 -20 CP trains in a 24 hour period so it isn't really busy. I also railfan in Ohio a lot where I see NS and CSX but I have done occasional trips to Michigan, Illinois and Pennsylvania. I also do trips to Northeastern Ontario to like Toronto and East of there to like Oshawa and Trenton where I usually meet up with friends. I recently got a drone so you can expect some pretty cool drone videos of trains around this are to come in the future!

Hello. First thing I am impressed with the scenery, structure & trains. I definitely take a first notice to the Blue WALTHERS POWER PLANT building. Mine is built up temporarily boxed up! The addition looks good next to it connecting. The very large structure bridge. Wow 😱! Very impressive well done. 👍✅
I left this comment on 10/23/21. Last time I was at that store, I saw the Santa Fe El Capitan in HO scale. If you like that as much as I do, then you should run down to the store and buy it before somebody else does.
I hope that the track conditions have improved. Mud pumping up between the ties, and unchecked vegetation. Looks lik ethe Penn Central through Cleveland in the early 1970's.
CN 438/439 both have on duty times. And this is not what I would consider busy. Yes there is more cars on a train but there is still the same amount of trains. 438 leaves in the late afternoon and 439 comes back in the early morning. The only other trains are the 2 daily locals that go out...
@@MrMitch5656 Interesting, my in laws lived on Riberdy Rd with the tracks behind them, (Pelton spur)I remember years ago 2 small trains, maybe 2 or 3 cars twice a day, usually around 1 and 7 pm, that went on for years, so I'm kind of going on that. But somehow it seems a lot busier, maybe I just notice it more cause the trains are a lot longer, in fact there was one last night, Friday around 9:30pm which seemed odd. I actually sold CN property near Walker Rd. back in 1999 to connect the Pelton spur to the Van de Water yard.

First of all I doubt they will see this video. Second of all if you read the description it says visited there which means I havent been back since this video was uploaded 5 years ago...
I was in the club from 2006 to 2007 and this layout was a joy and a pain to run. I had the track memorized but on the lower level the train would cut out when entering another district. (DCC). Most of the people in this club was very nice and respectable but as with all clubs it had a couple of clowns. My son and I had alot of good memories.
It is an adventure travelling by yourself. I've travelled on VIA from Windsor to Toronto by myself a couple times and I'm thinking about doing it again. A couple years ago I flew over to the United Kingdom by myself. I went to London and took the train north to Liverpool and back. There are no railroad crossings there. The roads cross bridges over the train tracks or roads run under the rails. Makes me wonder how they designed the systems so differently in North America. Keep enjoying those trains. Have not been able to get down there to do one, this video is the last I saw of the "new layout" lol. Will defiantly try to get down there soon and do an update for you.
Yeah it was a bit cold but nice blue skies for seeing trains. Kinda sort of lol. They have about 40 KM of track here in Essex County which runs from just East of Hiram Walkers where the ETR line connects with the VIA Chatham sub to industries in Amherstburg ON. Their main customers are the industries in the West end of Windsor where the used to service the salt mine and still service a few industries such as ADM and Dainty Rice. Occasionally they will being wind turbine sections to the docks to be loaded onto ships. They get their cars from mainly CN 438/439 which runs to London ON. and back everyday but they also interchange with CP.
