It’s really too bad Steph is so Loyal, the Dubs are going to be able to go all in and win with this roster, they might as well start rebuilding. Get a bunch of first round picks and young players for Steph, Dray, and Wiggs. Build around the young core. I’d call up Morey and tell him to send me Tyrese Maxey and all your picks for the next 20 years for Steph! 😂 He’d prolly try his best to do it!
GSW need a Paul George like trade to get them in the running again. So see if you can fit that. I predicted KD trade at the time because I saw the room they had. Now they no room and not enough players to make a good team. Lose Thompson that is a start. I have been a GSW fan since the Iguodala trade 🙂
So im a cap guy too the warriors actually had a way out and they didnt take it they could of been the 76erd of the west right now with lots of cap space. They should of let dg walk last offseason. Then let klay cp39 looney could of been stretched snd waved gp2 also. Then they would of had cap space to build a contender around Steph but they choice the nostalgia tour instead
Sound pretty much when they traded Poole they lied because they said it was for optionality. If they just let cp39 contract expire the Poole trade was a epic fail. Im still mad they traded him
Putting aside how stupid the NBA salary system is, they really should make an exception for teams who pay max or near max contract to multiple of their own drafted players. OKC might face some trouble in the near future and they will have to make sacrifice, it's really sad. This idea of parity is only good on paper. Sadly it's not very realistic in the real world
I’ll take a stab. 1). Negative contract value. Would have to attach an asset just to get rid of it. 2). Everyone always looking for wings (including us). Kinda hard to just trade one of those in return for what may potentially be another guard or PF. Easier to just surround Wiggins with better talent and hope he thrives in a tertiary role.
look if klay is leaving that means all the old vets can leave also. looney, draymond, cp3, wiggins. its time to rebuild when the young stars are shinning
can you share this file as a view only to teh public. would love to play around w trade scenariors without recreating this on my own. thanks this was amazing!
Loon with Steph +12.8 Loon with Klay +8.2 Loon with both Steph and Klay -4.5 That’s a huge drop off. Steph and Klay need staggered minutes because together they can’t get stops.
ALEX LEN would be a huge win. Appreciate you guys bringing that up. Any warriors fan that disagrees needs to rewatch our 2023 series against the Kings. Dude is a hustler and he always happens to be on the court when good things are happening. He’s not going to play in front of Sabonis so he’s always an afterthought in Sac. As for Looney, take a look at his per 36. Literally the same production as 2022. I think he got scapegoated a bit in 2024 for other things that were not working.
This is the best and most detailed analysis that I ever saw in youtube. You were preparing great games breakdowns but this is really huge. Keep doing good work :)
(1) Can the warriors trade Wiggs and Moody ~ to Toronto: for Poeltl and Boucher? Or ~ to Milwaukee: for Khris Middleton? (2) Maybe sign Patty Mills as a 3rd string PG? Vet min? (3) Maybe sign Mason Plumlee or Xavier Tillman for the Center spot? (4) Experiment on Lonnie Walker IV as SG?
I’m definitely going to rewatch this a few times. But here’s a hypothetical that was successful in the Trade Machine Its a 3 team deal… Chris Paul, Klay Thompson (3 yr $80M) Kuzma, Moody and WIZ’s #2 pick this year to Miami Wizards receive Wiggins and Tyler Herro Warriors receive Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson
I’d then shop Duncan with a future 1st Rd pick to Orlando for Jonathan Issac since Klay would be off the market for them. This would also help the luxury tax since he’s on a 1yr deal too.
Trade Looney for Isaiah Joe sounds perfect And sign Miles Bridges on a MLE, McDermott and potentially Ben Simmons on a minimum if he’s involved in a Lavine trade/buyout On paper Steph Butler JK Dray Trayce Podz Joe Bridges Santos Issac GP2 Simmons, McDermott Great/Versatile defensive team Better in the paint 3 dependable scorers
@@redpillproductions7187 The first deal would significantly weaken Miami, why would they accept? And simmons on a minimum? I think the mofo is still way too proud to accept that. Miles Bridges off the bench would be great though but all in all extremely unlikely to happen in my eyes. Would be amazing though... That would be a team that could actually make it through the first round :D
@@redpillproductions7187 wow that doesn’t sound too bad, but would blow up most of the team. Just conscious of stuff like this, I played 2k and did something similar(albeit it is 2k but still), not sure the chemistry would be there. This may be a 1 year chip run(first year wouldn’t expect them to go too far) but that year, rookies would be off contracts(kuminga mainly) so…..
@@leealvin121 2017 Warriors blew up most of 73-9 team too, it ain’t impossible. Just as long as we make the playoffs with a healthy Steph Jimmy and Draymond I’m confident in us making a run. And we’d have system fits.. Miles is an all around guy: A willing passer, defender, scorer and him and Draymond are cool. Issac is like a Iggy/McGee hybrid, could match up with MPJ, KP, KD, AD Simmons is a 6’10 Draymond type who played with Jimmy before. Just play him with our shooters. Can guard anybody tbh. McDermott plays like Klay Jimmy is a more aggressive version of Wiggins would can play make too.
So how can this 2nd apron stuff not apply to other teams like ugh the Lakers? If we have to operate with one hand tied behind our backs then that has to be true for all teams...
Generally waste of time - if we have that roaster to keep it under the lux tax then say goodbye to Curry chances of another title. You better think what blockbuster is going to happen and don't worry about lux tax.
The Dubs finished out of the playoffs with the highest salary in the league? Lacob is not stupid. There is not way I can think of to get the Dubs to a top 4 team. Klay has to decide if he wants to finish with the Dubs. If he does he will have to sign for less than $20M. Even so the Dubs will be a mediocre team but at least they will have a future and they will not have a stupid cost structure for the team they have.
@@mhscchampion14ebudget Philly has a better chance of winning a ring than dubs lol, and they can offer him a lot more. The point I was making was that the vet min target (Batum) is actually better than the proposed first option 13m targets (Hayward and Harris).
@@a3per818Batum always been a good and underrated player But Batum said at the beginning of last season it will be his last season in nba. I think the only thing who might change his mind is if he feels he has a big chance to win a ring. So dont be surprised if he sign at the minimum or if he plays at ASVEL in France because his friend Tony Parker is the owner and Batum is one of the shareholders.
