Hey there, my name is Jon and I've always had a deep love for tech. On this channel, we cover all of the new Apple products and other various tech products. I love Computers, Phones, Macs, Ipads, and any other tech I can get my hands on. Sub to the channel to join the journey!
Could you please make a video comparing a 512GB SSD and a 1TB SSD for a 14-inch MBP, specifically discussing whether the additional storage space is truly necessary?
Great & comprehensive comparison my friend. Is it wise to grab the Ultra 2 after the removal of Blood oxygen app? I’m in the Middle East Asia and Apple here claiming the watches does have the Blood Oxygen app🧐
I go back and forth using digital notes and field notes. I can’t decide which one to fully commit to if that’s even possible. That’s why I watched your video 😂
I’ve had a mini since the first one I loved it so much I drug my gf at the time out in the middle of the night on Black Friday to get my dad one. I can’t wait for the 7 mini is the only iPad I use I don’t like big tablets this things is basically a phone extension.
Mac will never convince me as long as it can't run games like a 1500$ gaming laptop does. the Same Gaming laptop hardware will run Linux better. I would choose that over any Mac any day.
the only pro 11 vs air 13 video i could find! i only need the pro for the brightness, and really don't know whether the 50 pounds more and smaller size is worth it. 500nits from my air isn't enough for my working conditions :(
The sensor is just horrible. You need to choose a specific mousepad to use with it. I have another mouse that cost me 1/100 of the price, and it works just fine on every mousepad I have.
Bro, I definitely 100% agree with that Logitech G502 mouse. I purchased one when it first came out many many years ago. I don't game much at all but just for the ergonomics and functionality, I can't see myself using another mouse as my primary one.
I can definitely see a preacher benefiting from the bigger iPad, makes sense! I just traded my 12.9 m1 to the 11 m4 because taking notes in church was difficult in the congregation 😂😂😂. I also wanted to use it as an iPad rather than a laptop replacement . I traded in a few things to get it, so I didn’t pay much.
Hello there! I hope you are doing well. I have a question for you. I am a medical doctor, and I am planning to purchase a MacBook M3 Pro. I am undecided between the 14-inch and 16-inch models. The issue is that the 14-inch model with a 1TB SSD is priced similarly to the 16-inch model with a 512GB SSD. I would greatly appreciate your advice on which option would be more suitable for my needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
I like big screens, and even connecting with a second screen.. Idk about portability, whether 14-inch is enough... do I sacrifice the screen, better charger, a second fan, and 512 Gb for the larger model? Thank you very much
@JonAdamsTech So, higher portability is real🙂 Well, I have a Toshiba 15.3-inch, and I use a 2nd screen to study and prepare presentations. 🖥️📚 In the hospital, I work on their devices.. 🏥💻 How about the storage please🦋 I download a ton of pdfs 👻 I cleared my storage once during my med school years.. 💾 And apps and video courses are getting larger in size by the day...
Last time I asked you about the size of iPad, that topic actually link to the digital vs analog thing, I had iPad 12.9 for a long time, the reason I got it partly base on my working style is hand writing A3 paper size mind map, so I want the iPad to be my paper in anywhere and any time as you always need a table, some color pens and a good light to waiting in A3 paper. But during these years, I feel like I kind of failed, yes you can have unlimited pen color and markers, you can erase everything in your Goodnotes or Notoful, but the infinity becomes a curse, I don't feel the limit, so I write too much, or I always try to write beautiful, undo my writing and sometimes forgot what I thought. Also it is much harder laying around a lot of iPad screen seeing every pages (though something is behind these pages) to visualize the whole idea. So I am consider to downsize the iPad to a size that is still usable, but in a way not so convenient to force me to use paper more. Any way, enjoy life and productive is the key. I was somewhat more productive while I don't have a iPad and have to solely rely on large paper notebook.
@@JonAdamsTech I had tried my friend's 10.5 inch iPad Pro, but that one has replaced a screen, so the Apple Pencil works quite inaccurately. But my next plan is a 11 inch iPad, I think it will work mostly fine with some limitation. to push me into the analog world a bit more~ I had also tried the iPad mini 5 for around 1 year before I went 12.9 inch, it is a good size, but sometimes feels a bit small, not sure how I will feel about it now, but at least that's what happened last time.
I like the video, but I'm still gonna go on a little rant. I never get the "I like not being distracted by my phone when I'm out and about". You could just, you know, ignore the damn thing and do what you want to do. Nobody is forcing you to check your socials every 7 seconds. The phone is not the problem, the lack of spine is.
Not true. Developers spend countless hours making things as addictive as possible to keep you on their platform to show as many ads as they can. If you’re on social media or even RU-vid they’re doing everything in their power to keep you on the app. If youre better than hundreds of thousands of hours of research and development then good on you but you’d be in the .0001% of people who are like that. For the rest of us, it’s nice to not be distracted.
I think it all comes to how you isolate yourself from the information, and how much energy you spend to isolate the information. Because to me, ‘to ignore’ cost energy, that means you are going through the whole cycle of ‘see it’, ‘either consider how important it is, or tell yourself you need to ignore everything’, then ‘bring you back to the working mood’, until the next round. So if you can avoid the whole circle, it will be much smoother. --You can also say use a focus mode, but you are still deal with a thing that is capable of getting all the information, you might fight with your demand of being more information convenient a bit, it will be better than let all the notification come in, but anyway, a paper will always be better. Also, not everyone has the strong will to self control, and even somebody can control, as I mentioned, control will cost energy. So why not choose an easy way? Also, using paper is not just about distraction free, the writing feels, the mind set will help a lot, for example, to me if I am doing hand written mind map in iPad, I will always want to write beautiful and spend extra time correct my hand writing.if somebody get more productive in paper than the iPhone, that is actually a fact paper for him/her/them is better, he/she/they might not well explain it, but it works. And if you are productive in phones, I am happy for you.
I agree with advantage of few issues in their operative system, I have been fixed more bugs in my laptop with windows 10 than my old MacBook Pro. Excellent video.
Recently got the AirPods Pro 2 at Costco for 50 dollars cheaper with apple care included. So far, the experience has been amazing! ANC works incredibly good in noisy environments along with the other modes, and they are a big step up in quality compared to my old Beats Solo 3 that died all of a sudden
I almost never have a pen and notebook with me. So I depend on having a digital device with me. Plus I really appreciate being able to document everything with a picture
I am currently using a 2nd generation iPad Pro and I’m considering getting the iPad Pro 13” M4 or iPad Air 13” M2. I mostly watch movies and lots of RU-vid videos like yours. I often use it for many hours throughout the day and I lean towards the Pro for the better visuals. In my experience the extra money is worth it on the eyes. Maybe I’m wrong but my eyes seems to enjoy it more and probably get less eye strain but maybe that’s just an excuse to buy nice shiny things 😂
I just upgraded from a series 2 iPad Pro to the new iPad Air 13 M2. The difference nearly 8 years makes is actually pretty nominal! Don’t get me wrong, the new pencil combined with Notability is really amazing.
like if i get the pro 11 m2 what’s about the updates tho is going to be all good? or they going to stop give it updates?? my last iPad least for +5yr n now slow af
I kid you not I was thinking about making the same type of video. I just started a set of videos on apple productivity apps. I love field notes and personally carry a national park field notes in a custom leather bound book. I’ll pivot my video idea now lol 😂
Depends on where you’re taking notes. If you’re someone who is constantly jotting down ideas then having a digital notetaker is better, but if you can compartmentalize your work and have the discipline to actually make good notes, actually writing down your thoughts (vs typing) is probably better. Just my opinion, great video 🎉
@@wayneknowsphotos I only use my field notes for very intentional times. Usually when I’m using my field notes I’m putting my phone down so I can focus on what I’m thinking.
Great review, but maybe you forgot to mention the speakers, because it’s not that simple. I listened both M2 and M4 11 inches and have to say - M2 sounds a bit more crisp and a bit more deep. It’s not that big difference, but you can easily notice it side by side. Also, the PWM thing. I’m PWM sensitive to, let’s tell, “OLED screens that were saved on”. I measured my iPhone 14 and 15 pro PWM %, and it was 8/10% speaking of full/mid brightness - and I’m fine with it. When we talk about iPad Pro OLED M4 - unit I’ve tested had 15/23% and I really feel eye strain after 10-15 minutes of using it.
hello!, as a "hackintosh" user (yes i am cheap or poor), i can tell that buying a mac is not better than make a hackintosh. If you could i'd like to read your opinion....
@@JonAdamsTech it may be, but as long as apple are supporting macs with intel processor, there´ll be hackintosh... as example i have a "ryzentosh" desktop, and all the benchmarks is only a 8% slow than a mac mini with m1 chip but 50% less in price... so, for the next or at least 5 years, why is better buy a mac than make a hackintosh?... i read you....
