An idiot truckdriver suddenly turned left over a field with no road WHILE WE WERE PASSING HIM FROM BEHIND, Luckyly my wife and I was protected by the Lord Angeles. WE BUMPED IN TO HIS MIDLE SIDE OF THE TRUCK 5-10 KM/SPEED, WE DID NOT FALL PRAISE GOD. THE BIKE WERE FINISHED, I BOUGHT A NEW SUZUKI GSX 1000 S GT WITH 2 SOUITCASES+ TOPBOX, HEATGRIBS, CRUISE CONTROL.....BE CAREFULL OUT THERE. :-( YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT ALL YET
Few questions for you if you please ! What is your windscreen model and how do you like it ? Mine is too noisy. Speaking of noise what model is your Shoei model that you mentioned to be quiet. Where do you rest your feet on other than stock pegs ? Thanks !
Yes, my fren, and in your quiet moments do chew on the impending abrupt and irreversible climate change leading to the 6th mass extinction . Ask, Did I have anything to do with that?
I have my GoldWing up for sale with the idea of downsizing to the T-120. I really appreciate this detailed review of things to consider. Thanks brother, be safe out there!
I have owned and run a 1968 Starfire since 1994 and at one point was used as my daily ride to work. If you are into British machines you shouldn't need reminding to clean out the crankshaft sludge trap because if the sludge trap blocks up it will cut off the oil supply to the big end and usually this snaps the conrod and wrecks the motor. On mine I fitted a remote canister type oil filter which helps prevent the build up of muck in the sludge trap. Always use good quality oil, without opening the proverbial can of worms I have always run mine on mono grade oil sae 40w despite what the owners hand book and manuals say and all I can say is this motor is still running nicely all these years later.
For a complete description of how bikes balance and corner, have a look at Tony Foale's Motorcycle Handling and Chassis Design. It's much more complex and fascinating than what's described here.
nice video, could you please tell me what tightening torque is used to tighten the bolt that holds the front pinion in place?? thanks for your attention
I was taught at a young age of 15 that offensive driving is best. To this day my driving instructor in high school at N. Richland Hills Tx. Was the best driver I ever ever seen.
If you are going north or east the mile markers will get bigger. The small sign on top of an exit sign will tell you which side of the road the actual exit will be. Google 75/40 split for a visual. The most amazing fact is you are 78% less likely to get your ass ran over if you use your signling light. 😂😂😂
I have one and yes, it’s kind of slow but really fun. All in all these are very enjoyable machines and I’m glad to see after all your work that it runs so well.
Thanks so much for the kind words and of course if you've followed the next set of videos, you'll see it now has a B44 engine in it, which is much easier to ride and has a little more pep than the B25 engine.
I have a 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200XC, so it’s that same engine you’re working on. This bike is new with only 2000 miles on it. Is it possible that the valves could be making a noise that sounds like knocking? While my bike was in the shop to repair an oil leak on the driveshaft, and dealership also did the annual service which includes an oil and filter…..it comes out of shop when the knocking that wasn’t there before. I noticed it right away. I uploaded two short videos on my channel so you can take a quick listen. I would love your opinion on this because I’d hate for any engine damage to occur. Thank you !
Can you share the details of the OBD reader and software you use to reset the maintenance schedule? Also wondering if it can it be used with more than one bike on a single licence? Thanks Sir!
The additive seems thicker than the oil. It might click like that because it takes a little for the oil to get mixed in right and flow throughout the oiling channels. It might be other things, but circumstances don't favor other reasons (you drained the oil and poured stuff in, didn't change other things) Make sure to take a look at cam chain tension when their time comes.
Well, I use the Rear brake for slow maneuvers only. 90% of my braking occurs using the front brakes. Trail braking in every corner, using the front brakes (load shifts forward, increased size of contact patch, shortens wheelbase, AND, I can tighten the diameter of the curve) using just the front brakes. I always drive with two fingers on the front Brake Lever, reducing reaction time and stopping distance, especially in an emergency stopping scenario. I go through front brake pads far more than rear. Just my honest opinion.
You literally clip together scenes to add a voiceover to and you still manage to add other bikes in the clips besides Kawasaki. Doing that while making reference to Kawasaki basically shows your lack of correlating relevant information. While everything you said is true it is so overshadowed by adding other bikes in the mix.
