Bienvenue sur ma chaîne RU-vid, sur laquelle je partage des astuces pour booster votre business avec l'intelligence artificielle et la pensée innovante!
The thing I liked most about this is how you spun a new narrative. "practicality of a deck of cards; symbols as opposed to suits and colors". Beautifully done.
Magicians really dislike me. Magicians where I live refer to me as a bully. I'm not a bully. My standards in magic are just really high. A lot of big name magicians who perform at the castle, in my opinion suck. This magician is one of the very very few who are actually really good. Ive been a professional illusionist for over 18 years. And I have a 500-1000 dollar challenge to any magician who can walk into one of my locations and keep up with me. 19 have tried. 19 have failed. I let the audience decide who's performance is better so it's fair. But I have a list of 9 magicians who I would not challenge as they are, in my opinion, much better than me. Now, I have ten. This guy here is one of the best magicians ive seen in a long time. I havnt felt this way since I saw the buck brothers for the first time. I am just amazed. If more magicians studied this guy and his performance, magic would be more respectable.
Modern Illusionist I stopped about halfway through the video. Your post is quite the challenge, yet you do have good grammar. What about this magician stands out to you.
Nicholas Vollmann I took a break from writing it. I realized it's very long. And It would require me expose a some secrets I don't want any other Magicians knowing. I will email it to you if you like. I wrote a few theories in magic that for some reason that I will never understand, Magicians have not picked up on. That's why I can make that challenge without fear. Because almost every Magician I've seen makes all or most these mistakes. When they don't, I don't think they know. I can kind of describe it without giving too much away. Have you ever seen the matrix? What would it look like if you took a really nice, likable guy and you were able to download 15 years experience in great magic in one hour? Think about the reactions that a good Magician gets. Think about the compliments spectators say to Magicians almost on a daily basis. The girls that flirt with him. The change in confidence. What's the difference between a computer technician showing you a new computer, and a regular guy showing you a new computer. When a regular guy shows you that computer, you are enjoying it in a different manner. You are enjoying with him. He doesn't have the subconscious authority that the computer technician has. But what if a magician had that authority combined with the innocence of a spectator?
Nicholas Vollmann I know you are not here to see me perform. And what Magician wouldn't say they are good? Many Magicians really don't like me. They say I have a huge ego. And I do. But it only shows up at/through/around Magicians. My career has gotten better over the years. But if you went online and typed in my name, you would notice one thing. You would notice that I was in the media almost every month. I was doing a LOT. With celebrities, with politicians, and corporate companies. And almost overnight, nothing. No pictures, no videos no nothing. There is a reason for that. Because Magicians take my work. And it's not just because it's my work. It's because that's the mindset of Magicians these days. I would rather Magicians think I'm just talking sh*t than provide them with a video of my original work. I'm not worried about my name or reputation among Magicians. It's the reputation among spectators that I care about.
RING JANDO I know. The large amount of videos of me on Google taken by fans, spectators, and the media makes me jealous. I wish I had to go out of my way to film my own videos and post them up on RU-vid while hoping I get as many views as possible. I guess I just don't have the time with my 6 locations a week in Jacksonville Florida, Including my two new locations, "Lynch's Irish pub", and "Awe Shucks". You know what I hate the most? It's the 32 front page newspaper collection of mine. Most of them are from my tour with Girls Gone Wild when I worked with DJ Redburn. I want to hang them up, but I don't want to take down the Media Appearances I did when Art Dore of bay city Michigan was promoting me. Well, I should mention that his staff did most of the work. He didn't have much time. He was doing something with the .2% of Fox news shares he owns along with the tough man competition that aired multiple seasons on Fox. But you are right about one thing, I have been slightly dishonest. You see, I tell people that performing magic is the only job ive ever had. That's a lie. And I feel bad. If I have to come clean, I guess I will. I'll admit, I was also a stunt coordinator and fight choreographer for low budget films like power rangers and monster energy drink commercials and other little projects of that nature. But this was Anaheim California. Those stupid demo videos of me doing backflips over 6 people holding up swords is just an awful part of my past that keeps following me around. Performing for the Detroit Red Wings, Budweiser Corporate, Petey Pablo, D12, 38. Special, and a bunch of other artists is just something I'm currently taking a break from. If it will help you sleep at night, you can claim I'm lying while refusing to look at the proof. There are hundreds of clever little comebacks you could probably think of at the moment. Or just vanishing (pun intended) and never speaking to me again might feel better. .....what have you done with your life?
RING JANDO Or maybe you shouldn't assume my comment was an attempt at bragging or being disrespectful. If you notice, I don't mention my accomplishments unless an unprepared dumb ass like you replies with an illogical claim to make yourself feel better. Oh sorry, I forgot to mention the lectures I give on Logic, Epistemology, Inductive Reasoning, Knowledge vs Belief Theory and other subsets of Philosophy involving Syllogistic Validity and construction. Your response? "You're alone" And you were even creative enough to add the dots at the end. Impressive. I always wondered, Why is it that when I mention Magicians who I consider to be way more talented than myself (like this guy here) and then mention Magicians who I dislike, why does it always create such hatred from unaccomplished morons like yourself? Don't get me wrong, I'm SUPER envious of your Romanian Swear Words. I made an honest comment. I said what I thought. I was honest and transparent. You know what your reply was? It was bullshit. Oh sorry, I meant, (Your comment was "Rahat"). Was that better? Yeah, many Magicians call my challenge an act of cockyness and egotistical. Yeah, because magic competitions for money and the title of (THE WORLD CHAMPION OF MAGIC) don't exist. My claim = Evidence, Supporting Arguments, Zero Hyperbole, Zero Fallacies, with a sprinkle of compliments to a Magician I recognize as more talented than myself. Oh how I brag! Your Claim = A lame attempt at a joke and an even more lame attempt at describing my personal life. My claim = Honesty Your Claim = Nothing
Hey man, thank you very much! No problem, follow me on social media and I let you know. I'm also about to release a book on Creativity for magicians if that is of any interest for you!
Interesting... Are you referring to my version or someone else's? I have done pretty much exactly that routine since 2007-2008 and it was about to be published by Murphys until it suddenly was published by some asian magician with a fake tie
Hi, saw the Asian Magician's one after i created mine. I think we all got the same idea approximatively at the same time. I'm proud of this illusion that I created but I don't think it takes a genius to make the connection....actually I'm surprised that very few are doing it!!! I'd love to see yours though!
Duncan Bannon I'm writing a book called "Creativity for Magicians" and it is out very soon. If you can't wait you can find the routine in the April/may 2016 Vanish magazine issue ! :-)
