Another clean race, well done guys 👏👍 In car video always reminds me of my time racing at the original Kyalami F1 circuit in the ‘70s, and to this day I remember how I took every corner. One that has been imprinted in my memory was the 260° plus spin on exiting Sunset Corner, with a concrete ‘magnetic’ wall on the inside of the track. Coming round flat as usual I got the left wheels just kissing the Transvaal dirt on the outside and that *#%* wall was saying 'Come To Me' as I went into that slide & pointing straight towards it at 60° or thereabouts. Don't know if it's ever happened to anyone else, but in situations like this everything appears to slow down as the brain kicks into overdrive and the Amygdala region becomes active, and to this day I remember the whole sequence: "Oh f**k if I don't catch this slide I will have to spin the car to stop me hitting that wall!" arms all crossed up by then of course. During marshalling I saw one driver freeze in the same circumstance and T-bone the wall writing off his lovely Alfa Coupe and another hitting the wall and rolling end-over-end about six times, so I knew what would happen if I did nothing - one written of car! Well the next thing I remember was the car rocking to a halt facing the wrong way towards Sunset, so I obviously caught it but not the return spin, having run out of talent! :-) Some memories stay with you for life and racing at Kyalami certainly does‼️
👍 Forgot to mention that as the car rocked to a halt, I looked towards the exit of Sunset and a Capri came barrelling into view! We both saw each other at the same time, the Capri twitched as driver had a split second to decide if I was still spinning or not, and which side to pass me. To this day I have no idea which side he took as it happened far to quickly for my frazzled brain to register🤔😮😂 Luckily no other car hove into view as I did a somewhat slower 190° having to restart the engine as it had died during that frantic return spin🤗
Excellent, great racing and footage. You could teach the supercars a few things. This is what many racefans want to see. In car cameras without all the commentary.

8:00am Monday morning... Hello, is that SGIO Insurance? Look, you're not gunna believe this. On Saturday morning I parked my car in Kmart carpark, went to get some groceries and. . .
Wonderful in car videos👍👏 Brings back all my memories of racing at Kyalami GP Circuit in the ‘70s. I remember every corner I took as if it was yesterday, an experience I will never forget.
love your work, awesome style of showing the fun of driving different cars and set ups, getting better and better at depicting the flow of the race with no narrator - networks could take a leaf out of your books - awesome
Cheers for the feedback. It can be hard work to tell a story without a budget for a narrator but I always hope that most viewers enjoy going with the flow of just watching some good racing.
awesome coverage guys - well done congrats - not to much of anything stayed with the jist of the race and it was understandable - really get a sense of the fun for the drivers watching this style of coverage - (not totally commentator dominated, got some awesome moments
Another top clip, great racing! I love the Escort and Bluebird👍🏼 A big fan of Gary and Blake Anger, I hope to see em back on track soon. I would love to join but my 81 Rx7 12a turbo doesn’t fit the regs even only 240RWHP. It would be great to run from back of grid even! Look forward to the next one👍🏼🏁♠️
Hey mate - contact our technical committee/Jim Spence and have a chat to him about running with us. We would love to have an Rx7 on the grid with us again and we might be able to work something out. qtcc.com.au/contact.php
