way to fast and all i want to know is if my transducer is on the back of the boat where are the fish in relation to me in the bow of the boat when they show up on the screen?
What video tutorial is available to learn Yamaha Key Fob sequence before starting outboards and before shutting down when docked. I’m a new Sportsman owner and was told that if not done in a certain way I could un-program settings on everything. Thanks for your help.
This is something we've got on our list of topics to cover. Stay tuned as it will be coming soon. For further instruction until then please reach out to tech@sportsmanboatsmfg.com
Man, I love my 21 212 but $100k for a 21’ boat….I’m glad I purchased mine when I did. The new features are really, really nice but dang it that’s steep.
@@Aprothfuss32I mean the new T-top is slick, the new hull is nicer then the previous generation also. But just three years ago I got a 212 Open for $57k. I get the changes & such but $30k diff to start… That’s right though, the 1st time buyer is most likely out on this… For $5k I can & I will add the ride system to my boat.
Boat looks great and I like the full glass windows at this size boat. But, I do not want to have to switch screens to turn on or off a toggle switch. Maybe the top 12 panel mitigates this but I’d have to spend time with it to know for sure. When fishing, I do not want have to change screens more than I have too. This would be a nice option but don’t make it standard. All other things being equal, I would choose a boat with physical switches.
Just took delivery of my tricked-out 252. After just one foray into open water, I’m very satisfied. The fit and finish is top-notch, and she handles beautifully. I couldn’t be happier.
Correction: On my 2024 the forward in floor storage/fishbox is NOT macerated. There is no switch for a macerator like there is on the 2023 model. I know this because while on a service rack I put a hose in the box and the water came out through the drain hole plug. You should correct this video at the 4:16 mark
You could make a whole video that is nothing but repeatedly saying “pull to the side and prep your boat before getting on the ramp” about a thousand times.
It's certainly something that people do not understand can actually hinder the flow of traffic at a boat ramp. We hope that videos such as this can help educate those who may not know! We hope you enjoyed the video!
Sorry for the late response. I spoke with one of our technical reps and the height of the boat is 111-inches. On the water subtract the 16-inch draft and add 4-inches for VHF antenna mount as this is higher than the satellite antenna. So you're looking at roughly 8-feet 4-inches for clearance. I do not have the height of the radar but would say clearance would be no less than 8-feet 10-inches to be safe. That is not an option from the factory but you can have your dealer install these before you take delivery or even after you have owned the boat for a bit.
Open 232 was completely redesigned for Model Year 2024. So what you're seeing in this walkthrough is a completely different boat than before. No parts were reused for this model.
