Great model and sound (mostly). I have tested mine a little and there seems to be some vibration when sounding the horns at 4:56 - parhaps this is common to them all?
Hello to you. Hope to add a 66 to my fleet, but not available here yet. May get a Bachmann and put in an HM7000 decoder. . Subscribe and share if you can. Bernie
Outstanding sir in every department! Missed out on this one sadly but did manage to get the Limited edition 66001 gorgeous. Hoping for the delivery today at my friend's shop the Locoshed in Manchester, two days overdue, typical! I saw 779 yesterday on the Biomass,.looked stunning. The sound at long last is absolutely spot on, i know i hear and see them every day. Enjoyed this running session, treasure it! You have a sub from me, cheers Nick Redshed 66077.
Have a look at Realtime trains, or Rail Record. Both websites allow you to track the trains coming through. I'd put in Crawley instead of ifield so it comes up with more trains.
Nice loco. Just has mine come. It takes about nearly 10 minutes before steam starts. Plus I hope Hornby have spare chimneys and boiler doors because they are very easy to lose.
Let's hear it for the guy in the pit at 14:45 shoveling up the ashes into the wheelbarrows. Folk like that are cornerstones of heritage railways but often don't get the recognition they deserve.
@@shedspotter6613 I'm actually considering a Sony PXW-Z150 or it's more modern equivalent, suitable for airshows and wildlife. This Sony Xperia 1 II I'm typing on here does 4K. Trouble with 4K is it uses absolutely huge amounts of memory space. My latest railway modelling video for RU-vid I'm currently post processing is over 4 hours long and all 4K. Cripes 🥺 it's scary. I need to chop it into 1 hr sections otherwise no-one will watch it
@andrewdking I get that completely. The file size is huge and takes so long to upload. I had Sony tech before and never really got on with it, so if I upgrade I think I'll stick to what I know and I've never had an issue with this camcorder.
Nice to see so much freight - Hardly see any these days where I am, in Teignmouth, Devon - Used to be one that came past on a Tuesday at 10.45 but that stopped now - You get a lot of variety there - Especially the cars at the end - Not seen that before myself 👍👍👍 Ive subbed - Cheers! 👍👍👍
There’s very little variety out there these days. I grew up with EMU’s and the occasional diesel. I so wanted to live somewhere with real trains but now I’m back to EMUs, 66’s and the occasional 70. Hardly worth the bother! Economics I suppose.
They're my favourite class, in today's world they offer interesting liveries and are always on interesting duties. Plus I'm trying out different locations to spot.
I remembered that when we're going to Manchester Picadilly with a Class 318 Northern train and right after we departed from Stockport,a Class 158 EMR Regional departed at the same time as us and we kinda had a race for some reason 😅
