Gamer and Game collector, I'm rebuilding my collection of both retro and modern games across multiple formats, sharing photos on Instagram and now here on RU-vid!!
I want to give you, the game players and collectors of RU-vid the most varied channel content I can, with gaming grabs videos, as well as content focussing on individual consoles, general gaming discussions and gameplay videos.
This is not a slight against your channel or your review I am glad you enjoyed it - however I can't understate this : The game is NOT a fucking 10 and I'm so sick of seeing everyone simp over this game. The fact everyone is simping SO HARD for this game actually speaks to a larger problem in the video game industry. Right now - gamers aka men 15 to 50 are STARVED for any decent game where there is zero politics and is just a video game. This game is a high 6 / low 7 at best - but because of the absolute starvation - people are losing their minds and giving this 10/10 goat status. Why? It's an OKAY platformer. It's a FUN platformer. A ten out of fucking ten? Gimme a goddamned break.
Looks really good, Paul. I don't know much about the character or the franchise etc but I'm definitely going to have to grab this at some point. As you say, each to their own I suppose regarding those that rush through games, but really, the fun is taking your time and uncovering secrets etc.
The good thing is you don't necessarily need to have played any of the other games to play it, in fact coming in fresh means everything about it will be totally new to you! Having played it for a few nights now, I can honestly say it's been one of the most enjoyable games I've played for some time! Thx gor watching mate!
This game looks bloody brilliant. I don't own a PS5; myself, being behind the times, I'm currently playing the first Ratchet and clank game for PS2, I'm about 50-hours into it, first play through, bought it from CEX for £8, I'm upto Chairman Dak's home planet, having acquired the instant order, at premium price, communicator, from 'Steve,' at a discounted value of bolts! Anyway, returning to this new game, it so reminds of the hydro jet pack used by Mario in Sunshine for the Nintendo GameCube. I cannot miss out the opportunity to mention how good these background music scores are in this NEW game, they're really catchy, and in such varied genres and arrangements.
Ah Ratchet and Clank is a great series, Rift Apart was incredible and right up there as one of the best games on ps5. But Astro is just a joy to play amazing game! Thx for watching mate!
Astro Bot looks fun but I just can't justify the prices of new releases these days. I see that £70 for one game is less worth it than that same money going on multiple ps1 games for my ever growing collection. I will get it, just when it's under half the price
Totally agree mate, like I said, I do it on very occasions these days and if do its usually if I can grab it as cheap as possible! Thankfully I was worth everything penny! Thanks for watching mate.
Thanks mate, yeah, Prey is such a clever little game, very atmospheric. But yeah, that 'follow up' was not was I was hoping for, such a shame the original didn't get that full blown sequel.. thanks for watching mate!
No, well yes, but no, it was shut the one day I went to Ashton! I've been doing little trips to places around the North West and went to Ashton solely to go there and it wasn't open. I do want to visit it, but I'm not in a huge or enthusiastic rush to go back to Ashton.. but will one day!
21:23 Have you played the Cybertron games? They are probably the most informed games (having many characters and references). I haven't played Devastation yet, but I remember seeing the gameplay footage early on its release. It seemed like an all flash, no substance game, like some anime game made by Bandai.
Yeah, love both the Cybertron games, both excellent, I just live Devestation for that nostalgia pov with it all being the look and sound of gen 1 Transformers! Thanks for watching mate!
19:54 Man that shop is packed. I wouldn't stack that much cardboard on top of each other, but I guess the game inside adds stability. Does that store do good business? Maybe it's just too small for the inventory. That's the kind of store I like though since prices may not be updated and things may be hidden from reach unless you dig. The same holds true for garage sales and thrift stores.
It's a unique place! It's been there for a good few years now too so guess he does ok, can't help but feel there's so much more potential with it though and the stock that's in there!
If you fancy another vr driving game I'd recommend dirty rally. No vr mode in dirt2 which is a shame and there's still more vr driving games on psvr1 than psvr2. They could do F1 and WRC rally in vr but never did. Gran turismo 7 is awesome on psvr2 . Great video as always
These both look great, the vr games get such a poor coverage I think in general so it surprises me how good these games and others are...wish it was getting more support from bigger publishers/companies but still a lot of gems :)
Yeah its quite a shame really, it feels like something is just stopping it from really picking up momentum, price point perhaps, but.. it does mean the older stuff is that little more niche and I think quite quietly collectable! Thanks for watching mate!
Excellent list mate, pretty much all of them I've played but not necessarily finished - Fable II for example. Really enjoyed that back in the day but still haven't completed it, same with Bioshock. Great system the ol' 360, right up there with the best.
Yep, great generation really but the 360 just had the edge with just a little of something for everyone back then. Now go and finish Bioshock! Thanks for watching mate!
I got my 360 in December 2005, with Ridge Racer 6. I got Prey when it came out and still think it's great to this day. Very unique with its characters (Tommy, not Jessie 😉) and the whole walking on the ceiling parts made me feel like the next gen had arrived. I love the 360 but I'd have to do some serious thinking about a top 10 because I think its from the best generation of software we've had.
@@pixelpaul_pxp no problem, we have similar tastes! I was surprised that TR Legend wasn't in your list. The 360 version is probably the best. What's your next top 10?
I absolutely love Alice, Split/Second and ME2! I've not played the rest so should probably give them a go. I must out myself as one of those weirdos that prefer ME to ME2 though 😂
Not weird at all mate, lots of people prefer it! Definately recommend Prey though too, great game! Thanks for watching mate, and I'll do that 10 Question challenge you nominated me for soon!
Decent top 10 there matey.. ashamed to say I've never played the Gears series 🙈 lol Pretty sure they'd be right up my street so yes need to put that wrong right asap 😎👍
Prey was the 1st Xbox 360 Game I bought with the console and it was a fantastic experience, definitely in my top 10. F.E.A.R. and BioShock are there aswell. I think BioShock was the last game that genuinely blew me away the 1st time I played it.
Fear is a great shout! But yes, Bioshock is still such a great game, probably the only game I finished and then pretty much started it again straight after! Thanks for watching mate!
Yeah but want it to be like a everyone has fear, and real emotion and basically if someone was to do something they did because of fear like some of the survivors in alien isolation, also like it to have modes like multiplayer kinda like a among us thingy but with more horror and coop maybe :3
