Hi. My name is James. I am from Brazil. I work in an automotive company and I'd like to talk to you about audit in Suppliers from my company. Please send me you address email
Respecting CSR when we are Tier 1, is clear requirement. What about, when we are Tier 2 or Tier 3 supplier, and VW is final customer, but Tier 1 (which is our immediate customer) never explicitly requires to respect CSR of final customer (in this case VW)? Do we need to implement and respect CSR of final customer by ourselves? Because, Tier 1 sign contract with VW and this means they need to respect Formel Q requirements, but Tier 2 sign contract with Tier 1 and there is only CSR of Tier 1 requirements, and not of VW or OEM in general?
In such cases Tier 2 supplier needs to follow Tier 1 requirements as his customer. However, let's bare on mind that Tier 1 is obligated to cascade OEM requirements down to the supply chain which is the requirement in IATF 16949 and in Formel Q in case of VW.
Hi, Just wondering within the P3 /P4 there are options for both product and process questions, I'm I right in saying if the company is not design responsible for the product you only ask in regards to the process and don't click the product option withing the question?
You can put all of that analysis and solving methods to your pocket when you have only one supplier of a component and he can do whatever he wants and you will buy anyway :)
@@Qualitywise very often it is the only one that is capable to produce what you need or in quantities that you need so you simply have no other choice. Especially when components are made of a niche material like rubber for example.
What to do when the result is B? Actions must be defined to fulfill the gaps or eliminate the non-conformities, but how it is defined according to VDA? Thanks for helping me out!
The gaps need to be covered so the actions shall be proposed and implemented. Important is to know the requirements of our OEMs i.e. VW Group requires a progress which means that if you receive B result in one year in another you should receive A.
Hello. One question please. What reffers to VDA RGA? I suppoose RGA comes from "Reifegrad" meaning maturity. Is this VDA RGA specific only for Mercedes client? Or every automotive project has this VDA RGA analysis prior to SOP?
