My almost 7 year old Great Dane was doing this last Thursday September 19th it lasted for a day and a half. But she's fine now. The same thing happened last year but when I got home from work she was fine.
I just came across you video and my dog is 15+ years old. She goes in circle much more than your dog. We have been told it is dementia and she is under a medication which I DO NOT see make any improvement. My dog still eats well and sleep well. Not sure what to do next. Is it worth to do an xray to confirm a brain tumor?
Garcias por el video y losiento por superdida, mi perro de 5 años lleva 5 dias con casi todos esos sintomas. Tenemos cita con el veterinario este lunes.
My dog went through all of these symptoms and we suspected a brain tumour or tumours. Blood tests indicated cushings, but even then it was likely to treat symptoms whilst sucking our bank account dry. I thank you for this video, as we ended up putting him down, he went from a healthy fun and active dog to one who deteriorated in a year. Our dog will be missed, but we just couldnt put him suffer.
Omg!! This is my dog I knew she had a tumor exact same actions as Misty. My dog is 13 or maybe older I've had herb13 years and we found her so I'm not sure her exact age.
This is EXACTLY what my beloved cat was doing … no vet got it right but once I started searching online I believe this is my answer … thanks for sharing your pain with us.
Dementia is sad to see in a dog. I just had to put my 13 year old best friend down. He no longer could handle car rides and had arthritis and heart murmur. Would stumble and fall, urinate and poop wherever because it didn't know any better anymore. But was a very smart dog before the Dementia took him within four weeks I put him down in the comfort of our home. Very sad and heartbreaking to see and he is no longer suffering. Please be patient everyone with ur dogs if they have it. And if quality of life is not good than you have to make a decision. I also did it because I didn't want something to happen in the middle of the night and have to drive to emergency, can't handle car freaks out, very scary. Goodluck everyone
We just woke up to our yorkie acting strange staring off into space and running laps around our 2 living rooms chasing something that wasn't there. Within the day it got worse. Running in circles, at times walking backwards into corners and behind furniture, incapable of sitting still. Nonstop running LA and falling over, licking non stop. Unresponsive to his name, commands, doesn't want to be pet or cuddle. Everything is off and we can't find the reason why. All local vets are closed on Sunday too so we've not been able to get him help at all today. He's been running and walking backwards and falling nonstop for 12 hours straight. I've tried putting him in a big Tupperware storage box with blankets to keep him in a safe place but he jumps out. Idk what to do other than go to the vet tomorrow
Did you find something to do? I also wake up and my dog it's acting weird It's not falling but just walking in circles and doesn't lay down to rest, I am really scared
Take her to the vets. Let them do a brain scan. My dog first had seizures, then dot this. She then became confused, fearful of any sudden sound. She would stand at her food bowl or water bowl and didn't know how to eat or drink. She would pace until I help her lie down to sleep. She became so week and confused. Had bad headache.
I saw a video of a vet in the USA. It is a stroke that causes this. My dog did the same, but the vets in SA are absolutely useless. They put my beautiful baby girl down. I can't bear it. They have alot of pain.
I experienced the same thing with my vet. "Don't worry," he said. "Blindness and crashing into things, walking in circles is normal after seizures." I read and watched everything I could. After the second seizure (which blinded him), I specifically asked if there could be something more serious than a normal seizure wrong with my dog. My dog was 15-1/2 years old. The first prognosis should have been possible tumor, because of his age. I feel guilty for trusting the vet and for letting him brush me off. After the 4th seizure, I made the call to put him down. I could not bare for him to suffer any longer than he already had. I should have pushed back harder for the vet to come up with a definitive answer. All blood, urine & x-rays were normal except for a few bladder stones. Vet should have tried harder to figure it out, which would have allowed me to make the decision to put him down, earlier. Instead, Doc suffered 3 more weeks than he should have. Thank you for posting your video.
Stumbled across him on RU-vid and have been stuck on his songs and music 🎶 ever since. His songs are such a blessing and inspiration to me !! More of Jesus, and less of me. PRAISE THE LORD !!!
Thank you for sharing this video. My dog has started walking in circles a day or two ago. This 8s exactly what she looks like. The vet also told me nothing was wrong. Her bloodwork and ultrasound came out fine, however her oncologist will look into it. I feel so helpless.
I am divorcing him and trust me he’s not a good father because a good father doesn’t use his son to get revenge on his mom because she leaves him after 20 years of nothing ever changing like he promised ! He’s a major narcissist who is very good at convincing people to believe his lies. Karma is gonna take care of what he has done or God first 🤷♀️
@@koshatim Wow.. I'm sorry you're hurt... I believe that any man that raises his son to know good from evil is doing the right thing... Maybe he slacks in other areas but none of us are perfect...
