I don't think I've ever heard of someone writing songs and being so so so passionate about it. She's always written about love and love itself. It doesn't matter if it's about relationships, friendships, or a person betraying you in whatever way. She's always written about love period. She puts 150 % in everything she does she never stops. I can and will never ever know why others put her down and criticize her work. She absolutely loves what she does and I truly believe she was put here to show people how kind and loving everyone should be and is supposed to be. You never hear her saying something mean or even being rude to anyone. She wants everyone around her to be happy and loved. And even if some of her old songs are dated wrong when she was young geezzz that's probably why "she was young". 😂😂. Love you so much Taylor and thank you for writing beautiful songs so relatable. And I think you should rewrite some of your older songs and make an album. So many of them are very catchy. And thank you for all of your research making this video. You did an awesome job finding Taylor's older music.
I think you'd make a really good video about Taylor Swift's unreleased music. The video about her music before debut was really good. A second part about the unreleased stuff afterwards would be amazing. With a little sprinkle about her life, not necessarily just romantic life. And you can do videos about other artists unreleased music.
Many big talents and successful individuals have visualized their life coupled with an unfailing belief in yourself is a true path to realising your vision. She knew what she wanted, took the steps to prepare herself and stayed on the path. No friends because most were likely jealous of such a gorgeous talented young woman, they were intimidated and so would exclude her and belittle her. Takes unflinching courage, good for her. What a woman.
I kinda think criticisms of her latest work may be missing a couple things about how her writing's changed. Her first 5 or so albums were all about teenage love and the fantasy of romance,. All things that are very universally relatable. But she's in her 30's now, and there's a new layer of complexity in her writing that's more nuanced. Her latest albums focus more on the themes of loss and disappointment, and the discomfort of reality not being ideal. As a 30 year old that's been through love and loss, i REALLY get it. Maybe not all listeners can relate that well to the new albums' themes without going through something similar themselves. (also, TTPD is probably 95% about a certain Matty. Not Joe. She's processed the loss of Joe through Midnights, and the loss of Matty through TTPD). ((Also, also, it may help to realize that TTPD title is meant to be sarcastic)). Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Thank you for talking about the paternity test line in the rep prologue, people don't talk about it enough and I am so sick of so many swifties only caring about the assumed men behind the song instead of her incredible work as a lyricist and artist
Sorry the curse of technological issues continued for this video but I’m glad to see the video back up and full now. I’d love to see a part two covering the anthology.
1:22:19 I was in Chicago when Sabrina got casted & was a couple days away from coming back home to California. I was begging my mom if I could go see the show just because Sabrina was in it. Honestly I still wish I could’ve seen the show especially now I know who Renee Rapp is that would’ve been an amazing show. Still wish Sabrina was in the movie instead of the actress they got for Cady because she a better singer
hii ive been going down a mean girls rabbit hole and yours showed up on your feed, im so surprised you dont have more subscribers but i love taylor swift and im really excited to watch all your videos!!
1:49 i just want to point out that Bring it On: The Musical is not an adaption of a Bring it On movie. There are a number of Bring it On movies, and each one is its own separate stand-alone story about cheerleaders. Bring it On: The Musical follows this pattern and is also a separate stand-alone story; it does not adapt a prior story.
The answer to your question is because she's a liar. On so many levels. And it shows. If you got a lie you shouldn't be doing it. And it shows right here cuz people with greed don't care about anybody else but themselves
Soooi, she is a liar of many many many many many many many many ways. My dad always said if you got to lie about it you shouldn't be doing it. And a greedy person doesn't care about anything else but themselves. And it does
Meet The Plastics in this version had the potential to be better than the Broadway one considering Regina’s verse is so 🔥. But no they removed Karen and Gretchen’s parts ☹️
I feel like your channel was made specifically for me 😭🫶 Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Mean Girls?! I am in love!! Your videos are so well produced. Can't wait until you INNEVITABLY blow up and hit a million subs, can say I was here from day 1
I wish you mentioned that the main reason for conflict in the original movie was because Regina misinterpreted Janice's Lebanese nationality with Lesbianism.
Im not a native English speaker so im sorry if im worng but. Isn't it "adaptation" why are you saying "adaption"? Ive never heard it pronounced that way in my life
I remember noticing the 115 line change in the movie and at first thinking they were gonna change the whole weight plot line but then when they didn't I realized it made sense. I'm 5'2 and a size XS/S and I weight around 120 so for someone even just taller than me to weigh less its just unrealistic. And then when you have an adult woman and not an actual teenage girl it just makes it an unrealistic line where the number can be taken away without having to change the plot as a whole.
Hi! I reuploaded the video here with stereo audio ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M3OKzoPj8LI.htmlsi=uMoaT9g0_ZGp9yuN sorry about the mix up still trying to figure out this whole youtube thing
Loved the video. If you’d like to do another musical to movie video u should definitely do “Hairspray” I think it’s one of the best ones to work on stage & film
It’s alright, thank you so much for addressing it, I think you are doing amazing and so far with this video I have been loving the format (I love long video essays)
Crazy how well documented her career is. It's like having a video of Paul and John's 1st meeting, and early gigs when they were Johnny and the Moondogs and the Silver Beetles.
I think the 2024 missed why the characters are iconic. They did a surface level adaptation. They went with iconic meme moments without realising the depth and meaning. For example ‘fetch’ Gretchen is trying to be old money so emulates posh English slang fetch=fetching someone we say (as a posh Brit myself). This phrase and running joke encapsulates her as a whole. Trying to be something she isn’t, trying hard to impress, but missing the mark or not knowing the reason she is doing it. Then Regina get annoyed at her for it etc etc. 2024 just has it for laughs, a wink wink moment.
