When you are cooking rice (in the boiling water before draining) the water should be fairly salty. For 1L of water, at least, 10g of salt is recommended.
Since Zereshk is part of the berry family, I guess the dried cranberry or raspberries can be good substitutes... But I should confess that I have never tried that :)

First of all too much butter on the rice ... secondly for tadig needs potatoes and fish needs to to marinaded in onion garlic Persian pickle and jalapeno juice .. Love u
Foodcraftz Hi. I tried it with lamb leg and it was great. Pressure cooker is a big timesaver. Do you use the same vegetables for Ash (Persian noodles soup)?
@@alans3935 Great to hear that! Ash needs more variety of herbs (chives, parsley, spinach & coriander), while for Ghormeh sabzi chives and parsley will be enough (other than fenugreek)
Just turn off the stove, wait 3 mins, turn it on again (always on low heat). The number of times you do this depends on the duration of cooking. 2-3 times for shorter times and 5-6 times for longer
