The reality is that Lil Wayne sucks, he just mumbles and mutters through every song, and really that isn't going to appeal to alot of middle-aged football fans. Kendrick is much more versatile artist and you can actually understand him. Nobody at home is going to enjoy Lil' Wayne mumbling and stumbling around on stage.
