Shazam was nowhere near popular enough for the average person to know about it 14 years ago. It's only recently started to enter the public consciousness.
if anyone knows where the female vocals in the first quarter come from, I'd love to find out. I'm tired of tracing the history of this song's remixes. it seems the vocals (and some drums) overlay with Marion Barfs by Clint Mansell. at ~2:20 it transitions to Requiem for a Tower, which was made for some LotR property (and has at least two different variations), but took from Lux Aeterna by Mansell for the movie Requiem for a Dream.
