Like the others below I too want to invest in Redwood so your expansion can happen quicker, battery demand is met and traditional mining can scale back. Indeed, we must access the strategic stockpile of battery materials found in batteries we no longer use. I tend to think of batteries as difficult to dispose of properly, which is totally backwards, considering how valuable those materials are.
What Redwood is doing is brilliant and future proofing a supply chain. It would be great to receive more updates on recycling/plant construction progress from Redwood 👍
I'm still hoarding my "junk" batteries and electronics until there is a program that fairly compensates me for what the materials are worth! No way will I, or many like-minded others, freely donate...
Is it better to pick a part of the batteries before grinding them up and then recycling or is better to just grind the whole battery and the electronic device and take that soup and refine it into battery materials after?

Also, I think the best way to recycle would be to make it as easy as possible for consumers e.g. give everyone a free shipping label and have everyone mail in their recyclables. If free shipping is not enough to meet Redwood's recyclable demand, then people should be paid (incentivized) to mail in their recyclables.
