that thig looks perfect . You should put some water proofing in between the cab and the box the prevent rust. Just blast some paint or put a rubber mat over it. I think the only thing that would make that truck better is having a mud terrain tire tread. Height and tire size is good
CONGRATULATIONS, very neat indeed, you have done an outstanding and impressive job on your lovely toy, please enjoy and make the best of it, do not abuse it, very possible that your kids and perhaps your grand kids will enjoy it as much you do, I have an 86 single axle, automatic transmission, power steering, power brake, air conditioner, runs smooth as a feather,y daily drive, all I do to it is preventive maintenance, on very similar condition as your is, blessings to you and your love ones, from the endless summer paradise Puerto Rico Jesus Torres .

Sweet Ride! Getting started with mine and was wondering what are your thoughts with 4.88s at the diffs and 4.7 gears in the transfer case? Any help would bd appreciated. Thanks and have a blessed day! 🙏
I runner with 488s but transfer case is built and has lower gearing when wheeling. I can run 70plus miles on the freeway and keep up with traffic with ease.
Que tal compa disculpe es una hermosa camioneta mi abuelo tiene una igual a la suya quiero saber cuánto es lo que se le invierte para dejarla así de bella.
I just bought a 80’ long bed. I’m debating 35’s vs 37’s and a lift set-up. What did you do to solve for the angle on the driveshaft? Are those 35’s, 3 inch leaf lift with shackles? Looks great.
Nice buy. I didn’t go that big on tires. I went 33s I did install pinion angle shims to help. Yea they are 3 inch springs old man emu. With greasable shackles from marlin crawler.
37”s would fit but your better off getting a new spring perch and welding it on your axle. You’ll get this best pinion angle this way. Alittle more involved but not too bad. Just some grinding and welding on the axle.
@@killertoy1985 I’ll Look into a spring perch. Will 37’s work without having to trim anything. I’m not gonna cut in the Annie fenders. How much lift total? This thing is totally stock original and clean. Same color as yours as well.
@@killertoy1985 I definitely think 35 would be the absolute biggest I would want to go. I’ve got to admit you’re a 3 inch lift with 33’s looks very nice. Aggressive but just enough. So it’s something between 33 and 35s for me. So your springs aren’t stock, they are OME as well as the shackles?
The retrofit kit is very simple I got mine at oreileys auto parts. But all or most auto parts stores carry it. It’s literally the adapters for changing the fittings to r134a. I also changed out my condenser and filter drier.
Hello again! Im still working in my Yota. Rebuild engine completely, finally found a bench seat. I have a question: Did You modified your differentials ? I have 35’s on this truck now and as you might imagine cant do more than 40 mph
Yes I did, I’m running 4:88 differentials. And I cruise at 75 on freeway. With 35’s your gonna want to go 5:29 gears. You still won’t have great top end but you’ll be able to at least hit freeway speeds.
@@oliveramatajorge you can order the kits from trail gear, marlin crawler, all pro Offroad, Dave’s Offroad. A lot of companies offer it. As far as the transfer case most people go dual transfer cases to get the lowest ratios possible. But 5.29s will serve you right in the differentials.
