When I first saw the wave of negativity, I was confused and took the time to inform myself about this woman. What I found out was that her crimes seem to be: she's been accused of "stealing jokes," she doesn’t fit certain beauty standards (which she even jokes about herself), isn’t funny to some people, and has clear opinions. That’s it. Yet some trolls act like she’s the devil incarnate. Why? Of course, comedy is subjective-what one person doesn’t find funny, someone else might love. More tolerance for different types of humor, please! xD xD Some comedians/public personas will always be polarizing, and that’s totally fine. But hating without offering any constructive feedback? That’s pretty pointless. Mindless hate doesn’t add anything and also has real-world impacts-whether in terms of karma or on people’s mental health. A little more empathy and mature conversation could work wonders.
Why does everyone hate her so much . Yeah I find her politics annoying … and after hearing how rude she is to her fans I lost even more respect for her but I think as a comedian she isn’t the worst and actually she can be sorta funny
Come on... the "sir" was very funny... Good timing. Everyone on stage thought it was funny. Calm down. Amy is a maniac because she steals jokes and bullies Steve-O. She is a decent writer (if she gets a bit of help) and she is kinda, you know, the fat girl in class who knows she is fat but makes a bit too many jokes about it
Note to women: crass and self deprecating jokes don’t come Off the same as if you were a man. Set moral boundaries first also. Dont try too hard, calm your nerves Men and women are funny in different ways. But still can make eachother laugh, its awesome Obviously i cant teach people how to be funny, it’s mostly self learned, But If you have to do some sort of mental gymnastics to laugh at your own jokes or yourself you probably aren’t that funny lol
