Hello my friend, yes it is some fun gears to mix the outpouts and give it some glue and shaping potential, very fun to dial in and see how it affects a whole group of sounds. For the maschine it is not standalone and quite an hussle to set up but when it is done it is quite poweful for live performance but I admit I have to progress a lot on this side, it is not that easy for me.
@@FortheSoulFtS I hear you about the Maschine. I had one years ago and never got good with it. Now I know why you tracks always sound so banging. That outboard gear is sweet. Keep going and fight the good fight!
I love this one. I like seeing you in the video, nice touch, but more importantly THE MUSIC!!! You caught a flow on this one for sure. I love where you go at 4:20 and forward. So many changes that flow seamlessly. I love the pallet of sounds and how it builds and breaks. I could hear this in a club for sure. Nice job!!!
I now see why everyone loves modular. It's a sound designers dream. Thanks for the education, It's very enlightening. One day I'll go down that rabbit hole.
Once again loving the melodic stuff! I too am just learning the importance of titles. It's just one more thing to consider and get good at. It's all a process ,even the parts I don't enjoy. All the best from Japan.
Hello my friend. I like this new style of video. As a gear head who doesn't know modular I learned a lot by watching. Thank you. I recently learned a big lesson from my channel. I never cared about titles but got really lucky on my last vid. I will now try my best to consider how the title will effect my channel views even though I hate playing to the RU-vid algorithm it does feel nice to reach a bigger audience. Nice to see you trying new things. Keep throwing stuff at the wall and see what sticks lol. All the best!
Yeah thank you for your insight it is helping! I dont want to loose the fun making videos and those youtube algorithms are killing me... But it is the game... I dont loose the objective that is to make 1 hour long set and start to look for shows. The rest of the youtube game is for fun so I dont want to invest too much time and it has to be kind of natural.
@@FortheSoulFtS I hear you. The title on that video was just picked random because I was in a hurry to post before I left on my trip up north. I only realized after i posted the video that the title was what made the video get so many views. Sad to say. I wish we never had to think about these things. It does take the fun out of it.
Yeah Man you really flow nicely with the melodic stuff. You make it feel natural and organic. Love the end also. Another day another step closer to our goals. Love and Respect.
Yeah I now visualize totally what I want to get to entertain people and have a lot of fun. It is the hard part some say. I think so because now it is just practice and technical stuff, all what I love doing.
Amazing sounds! This is by far my favorite track of yours. Great progression of layers, beautiful manipulation of sounds. I see two new keyboards I want to own lol. I really love the melodic stuff.
Yeah me too I love the melodic stuff, I should try to do a bit more of this kind of stuff you are right! Yeah you will have a great time if you get one of these 2 keyboards, you can get classic melodic and house sounds very quickly.
Nice One! It goes in a lot of different directions. I love the transition around 6 min in. Modular looks like so much fun but a rabbit hole I am afraid to enter. Your energy is inspiring!
oh thanks! Yeah modular is a rabbit hole and you will spend minimum 6k to get a system you can patch and repatch with sound design in mind to jam. Something you can do with plugins for 0 buck. But is is fun and you can buy specific module you like. The machine will be your's like nothhing else on the market. If you love machines, turning knobs like me and want to get specific sounds it can be hard or impossible to reproduce with plugins, go ahead!
@@FortheSoulFtS My wife would kill me lol! I'm having so much fun with the gear I have. So much to learn and become proficient on. It's nice to do most of the work outside the DAW. Tweeking/making music with a mouse sucks.
Nice one! I really like the look of this one color pallet wise, I'm a nature boy so no wonder why. I hear you on the transition thing. There is so much to think about when performing like this. I am impressed with the frequency of your uploads and seeing you program sequences live. After making music with a DAW for so many years this way of working is a challenge . Keep killing it. Sending good vibes from Japan.
Hello how are you doing? Basically I am working and making music. I record everyday and upload it no whatever what. I just want to see how I progress with my live set up. Cheers :)
Hello from Osaka Japan. Nice vibe and sound design! You trapped me in a 20 minute headbob. I'll be sure to check out your other vids. It's so nice to find people with similar interests. Keep killing it!
Yes we are a special kind of people especially around my town. Seems there is no turning back when you fall in the rabbit hole. Liked your vibe as well, very well constructed track for a jam!
